A shielding structure of an object sterilized by radiation. The object is a housing that accommodates an accommodated object therein and is formed of a shielding material that shields the radiation and secondary radiation that has a higher transparency than the radiation and is secondarily generated by the radiation, an exterior of the housing is sterilized by the radiation, and the radiation and the secondary radiation do not penetrate through the accommodated object.

A bacteria treatment mechanism and a bacteria treatment method capable of reliably sterilizing an exterior of an article are provided. A bacteria treatment mechanism includes: a bacteria treatment unit that has a space for performing bacteria treatment; a radiation irradiation unit that irradiates the bacteria treatment unit with radiation for performing the bacteria treatment; an air supply duct that supplies air to the bacteria treatment unit; a decontamination treatment fluid supply unit that supplies a decontamination treatment fluid to the air supply duct during initial decontamination of the air supply duct; and an exhaust duct that exhausts molecules in the bacteria treatment unit.

The present application relates to a technique for reducing the circuit scale of a testing device having a function of performing a fading process with respect to a propagation channel of S&#xd7;U channels assumed between transmitting and receiving antennas, using a terminal compatible with MIMO for transmitting a downlink signal from a base station to a mobile terminal with the number of base station-side antennas S and the number of terminal-side antennas U, or a circuit substrate, an integrated circuit and the like built into the terminal, as a test object. The multiplication arithmetic operation of the characteristics of the propagation channel and the modulation signal is performed in the frequency domain, and a time domain signal is generated from the arithmetic operation result. It's possible to considerably reduce the scale of a circuit that performs inverse Fourier transform and the scale of a circuit that generates propagation channel characteristics.

Device and method for testing MIMO scheme system

A window function arithmetic operation unit performs a convolution arithmetic operation of the frequency characteristics of a window function with the input of modulation signals which are output by a layer frequency domain signal generation unit. A beam forming equivalence arithmetic operation unit performs an arithmetic operation process equivalent to the beam forming process with the input of propagation channel characteristics of each path which are output by a fading setting unit, and a Fourier transform unit performs Fourier transform with the input of the arithmetic operation results. Provided is a content viewing system using a head-mounted display (HMD), which enables a user to know a popular broadcaster content in real time. A device to be used for content viewing includes: a display unit configured to display, on the head-mounted display, a plurality of virtual displays arranged in a virtual space; a selecting unit configured to select one of the virtual displays based on movement detected by a detector of the head-mounted display; and a playing unit configured to play a content associated with a selected virtual display. The plurality of virtual displays are arrayed in grid sections provided along a celestial sphere surface. The selecting unit is configured to identify one of the grid sections on the celestial sphere surface based on the detected movement, to thereby select one virtual display associated with the identified grid section.

Device and system for viewing content using head-mounted display

Four (=M) transmission information signals are output from transmission information generating unit to linear transform unit, where they are transformed into synthesis signals by linear transform expressed by multiplication by a 2&#xd7;4 matrix having complex numbers as elements. Signal processors perform signal processing corresponding to the modulation technique of test target on synthesis signals. On the resultant signals, 2&#xd7;2 channel processing unit performs 2&#xd7;2 pseudo channel processing, thereby forming equivalent M&#xd7;N channels. Parameter setting unit sets information necessary to acquire desired M&#xd7;N channel characteristics as the synthesis characteristics of linear transform unit and N&#xd7;N channel processing unit.

Testing apparatus and method for MIMO systems

In a sphere polishing machine, workpiece balls in a ball passageways which are formed by guide grooves 5 formed in a stationary board 2 and guide grooves 1a formed in a rotary board 1 are moved along the ball passageways while being rotated by the rotary board 1, whereby the portion of the workpiece ball which is brought into contact with the guide groove 1a of the stationary board 1 in accordance with the inclination of the axis of rotation of the workpiece ball, is polished. On each of the ball passageways, a plurality of predetermined positions are selected at predetermined intervals, and relief grooves 6a, 6b and 6c are formed in guide groove portions of the stationary board which correspond the predetermined positions so that, when each of the workpiece balls passes through each of the predetermined positions, the inclination of the axis of rotation thereof is changed.

A lower-layer interconnection and an upper-layer interconnection formed on the lower-layer interconnection through an interlayer insulating film interposed therebetween are connected to each other by a plurality of contact plugs the interconnections and the contact plugs providing a plurality of conductive paths. The lower-layer interconnection is made of a conductive material having a resistivity higher than the upper-layer interconnection. At least one of the conductive paths provided in the lower-layer interconnections is shorter than the other conductive paths, and the contact plug which provides the shorter conductive path has a lower resistance than the contact plugs which provide the other conductive paths. With this arrangement, the contact plug which provides the shorter conductive path is prevented from suffering an increased current density, and the current densities in the contact plugs are uniformized.
