The first superconducting wire rod has a first edge portion, and the second superconducting wire rod has a second edge portion. A coated carrier regenerating method in accordance with the present invention includes the step of: determining an amount of a worn-away coating resin of a used coated carrier. Accordingly, an amount of the coating resin layer to be supplemented, namely an amount of the coating resin with which the coating resin layer is to be supplementarily coated is found based on this amount of the worn-away coating resin, whereby the supplementary coating of the used coated carrier can be carried out with the coating resin in the amount thus determined. This allows regeneration of a coated carrier in which a coating resin has a uniform thickness, that is, a coating resin layer has a thickness which is unchanged from the thickness obtained before use of the coated carrier, without the need of completely removing the coating resin from the used coated carrier. According to the method of the present invention as mentioned above, it is possible to easily regenerate, in a shorter time and at a lower cost, a coated carrier in which a coating resin layer has a uniform thickness.

At least one of an interval between the step of drawing (S) and the step of the first rolling (S) and an interval between the step of the first rolling (S) and the step of the first sintering (S) is less than seven days. With this method, a superconducting wire having high and uniform performance can be obtained.

A method of manufacturing a superconducting wire includes the step of drawing a wire formed by coating raw material powder for a superconductor with a metal, the step of first rolling rolling a multifilamentary wire after the step of drawing, and the step of first sintering sintering the multifilamentary wire after the step of the first rolling. Imidazole derivatives as adenosine deaminase inhibitors

The inventive method of manufacturing an oxide superconducting wire comprises a step (S, S) of preparing a wire formed by covering raw material powder of an oxide superconductor with a metal and a step (S, S) of heat-treating the wire in a pressurized atmosphere, and the total pressure of the pressurized atmosphere is at least 1 MPa and less than 50 MPa. Thus, formation of voids between oxide superconducting crystals and blisters of the oxide superconducting wire is suppressed while the partial oxygen pressure can be readily controlled in the heat treatment, whereby the critical current density can be improved.
