A rotor is provided with: a rotor core (); a plurality of permanent magnets (); a substantially tubular magnet cover (); and a load reception block (). The rotor core () rotates integrally with a rotary shaft of a motor. The permanent magnets () are arranged on the outer peripheral part of the rotor core (). The magnet cover () covers the exterior of the plurality of permanent magnets () and the rotor core (), and has a flange part which is bent radially inward at the end along a rotation axis. The load reception block () is disposed between the flange part and the end surface of the rotor core () in a direction along the rotation axis, and abuts against the flange part and the rotor core ().

An insulator attached to a core body in an annular shape and multiple teeth protruding from the core body along a radial direction for insulating the teeth and a coil wound around the teeth includes: a tooth end surface covering part covering an axial end surface of the tooth. The tooth end surface covering part includes: an inclined part provided on a front surface of the tooth end surface covering part on a side opposite to the tooth and inclined such that its height from the axial end surface of the tooth gradually changes along the radial direction; and an inclined part parallel part and a tooth parallel part provided on a back surface of the tooth end surface covering part on the tooth side and concave in a direction away from the axial end surface of the tooth.

Insulator, stator and electric motor

The motor comprises: a stator around which coils are wound and which forms a rotating magnetic field rotating a rotor; and a first motor case housing the stator. The stator has: a core body portion forming an annular magnetic path; and a fastening portion projecting outside in the radial direction from the outer circumferential surface of the core body portion. The fastening portion has an attachment hole which is formed in a penetrating manner along the rotating axis line direction of the rotor and into which a fastening screw for fixing the stator to the first motor case is inserted. The first motor case has: first to third core receiving portions receiving an end portion of the core body portion in the rotating axis line direction; and first and second fastener receiving portions receiving an end portion of the fastening portion in the rotating axis line direction.

An advance angle correction method of a motor device includes: acquiring first advance angle correction information indicating a correspondence relationship between an advance angle correction amount and a rotation speed difference of a rotor of the motor calculated in advance based on a rotation speed change rate; measuring the rotation speed difference of the rotor; calculating a first advance angle correction amount for each rotation direction of the rotor as a first forward rotation advance angle correction amount and a first reverse rotation advance angle correction amount so that a rotation speed difference of an output shaft becomes smaller based on the first advance angle correction information and the rotation speed difference of the rotor; and storing the calculated first forward rotation advance angle correction amount and the first reverse rotation advance angle correction amount as advance angle correction information for each motor device.

A wiper motor has: a magnet disposed on the yoke and formed with at least four poles; an armature disposed on an inner side of the magnet; a speed reduction mechanism unit having an output shaft for transmitting the rotation of the armature shaft; a gear housing connected to the yoke; a gear housing cover covering an opening of the gear housing; a magnet attached to the output shaft of the speed reduction mechanism unit; an absolute position detecting sensor disposed so as to face the magnet; and a control board having the absolute position detecting sensor attached thereto, the control board being disposed between the gear housing and the gear housing cover, and configured to control the rotation of the armature shaft.

Wiper motor

A motor case () in which a stationary portion () is fixed, and a gear case () in which a gear mechanism (SD) is accommodated are made of aluminium, most heat generated from the stationary portion () at the time of actuation of a brushless wiper motor () can be directly dissipated outside from the motor case (). That is, compared with conventional technique, heat transmitted to the motor case () can be efficiently dissipated outside, and the motor case () does not reach high temperature. Therefore, as a matter of course, reduction in size and weight can be achieved, suppression of electromagnetic noise can be achieved, and heat-resistance strength can be enhanced. Expensive components capable of resisting high temperatures are not required, and reduction in manufacturing cost can be achieved.

Brushless wiper motor

The swing member () to be subjected to swinging drive is integrally provided to the output shaft () outside the speed reducer case (), the speed reducer case () is provided with a pair of swing regulating portions () which prevents the swing member () from being moved beyond the wiping-allowable limit angle (b&#xb0;) by contacting the swing member (). As a result, the swing member () and the swing regulating portions () can collectively form the regulating member (). As a result, essential components (such as fixing plate) can be omitted from the conventional wiper apparatus. Therefore, the wiper apparatus can be improved in assembly workability, size and weight by reducing the number of components thereof, and provided with a regulating member () which prevents the wiper member being moved beyond the wiping-allowable limit angle (b&#xb0;).
