Connector device

A connector device includes: a motor-side connectorincluding motor-side terminals; an inverter-side connectorincluding inverter-side terminals; a motor caseincluding the motor-side connector; and an inverter caseincluding the inverter-side connector. The connectorsare fitted to each other when the inverter caseis stacked on and coupled with the motor case. The motor-side connectoris fixedly mounted in the motor casevia a mounting holeof the motor case. The inverter-side connectoris supported on the inverter casewhile penetrating through a mounting holeof the inverter casein a radially freely movable manner.

A motor case () has connectors () fixed at motor case mounting holes (), and an inverter case () has connectors () radially movable at inverter case mounting holes (). The inverter case () is mounted on the motor case () so that the connectors () fit together. A surface seal () is disposed on a lower surface of a flange () at an outer periphery of a housing () of the motor-side connectors (), and is compressed elastically against an upper surface of the motor case () at an outer periphery of the motor case mounting holes (). A metal pressing member () is fixed on the motor case () and presses the flange (). An axial seal () is fit on the outer periphery of the housing () and is compressed elastically between the outer periphery and an inner periphery of the second mounting hole ().

A device connector includes: a terminal metal fittingincluding a first connecting portion, a second connecting portion, and a flexible conductive memberlinking the connecting portions; a housinghaving a cavityfor accommodating the first connecting portion; and a guide memberattached to a rear surface of the housing, and having an insertion holeopened concentrically with the cavity, the insertion holecorresponding to a connecting end of the flexible conductive memberof the terminal metal fittingto be connected to the first connecting portion. Device connector

A device connector to be mounted and fixed to a case of a device includes a case-side connector to be fixed to the case by fitting a tool such as an impact wrench to a bolt head provided on a fixing bolt and tightening the fixing bolt into the case, a mating connector to be connected to the case-side connector and fixed to the case by tightening a connecting bolt into the case with the mating connector mounted on the case-side connector, and an access prohibiting portion provided on the mating connector and configured to prohibit the tool from being fitted to the bolt head by being arranged in proximity to the bolt head of the fixing bolt when the mating connector is mounted on the case-side connector.

A male connector () is mounted to a case (C) of a device and includes a bolt (B) with a tightening portion (B) to be engaged by a tool for screwing the bolt into a bolt hole (C). A shield () includes an insertion hole () for receiving the bolt (B) and a bolt cap () covers the tightening portion (B). A seat () is provided adjacent the insertion hole () and is sandwiched by an edge of the bolt hole (C) and the tightening portion (B) in the axial direction. A flange (B) projects out from the tightening portion (B). A mounting recess (D) is formed between the flange (B) and the seat (). A mounting portion () is mounted in the mounting recess (D) and engages the bolt cap () to hold the bolt cap () on the tightening portion (B).

Device connector and device connector system

A connector () has a housing () with a cavity () and a terminal fitting () accommodated inside the cavity (). A locking strip (B) projects out on the terminal fitting (). An inner surface of the cavity () has an erroneous insertion prevention part (A) that engages the locking strip (B) when the terminal fitting () is inserted into the cavity () in a posture erroneous in an orientation about an axis thereof, thus preventing erroneous insertion of the terminal fitting () into the cavity ().

Connector

A waterproof connector has an equipment-side housing () with a hood () and an wire-side housing () with tubular fit-on parts () and an interlocking fit-on part () that can fit in the hood (). A rubber ring () is fit around an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical fit-on parts () and the interlocking fit-on part () to seal a gap between an inner peripheral surface of the hood () and an outer peripheral surface of the tubular fit-on parts () and the interlocking fit-on part (). A sealing surface (A) is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the hood part () and closely contacts an entire outer periphery of the rubber ring (). Air release grooves () are formed on portions of the inner peripheral surface of the hood () forward of the sealing surface (A).

Waterproof connector

A male connector () has a male terminal fitting () mounted in a male housing (A). The male housing (A) has tube () surrounding the male terminal fitting (). The tube () is spaced out from a conductive part () of the male terminal fitting () by a distance so that a finger cannot be inserted between the tube () and the male terminal fitting (). A fit-on part () of a female connector () can be inserted between the tube () and the male terminal fitting () so that a female terminal fitting () can contact the conductive part () of the male terminal fitting (). An insulating coating () is formed on a front end of the male terminal fitting () by molding a resin to prevent shocks.

Male connector and connector apparatus

A shielding connector apparatus includes an equipment-side shielding connector () with an equipment-side shielding housing () and an electric wire-side shielding connector () with an electric wire-side shielding housing (). A connector fit-on nut () is formed on the equipment-side shielding housing (). The electric wire-side shielding housing () has a fit-on bolt () that is screwed into the connector fit-on nut () to fit both shielding connectors together. An equipment-side contact surface () is formed on the equipment-side shielding housing (). An electric wire-side contact surface () is formed on the electric wire-side shielding housing ().

Shielding connector apparatus

A connector has first and second housings (A,A) that can be fit together along a fit-on direction. A female terminal () is mounted in a cavity () of a first housing (A). A lance () is formed inside the first housing (A) and locks the female terminal () in the cavity (). The lance () can deform elastically in the flexibility allowance space () to unlock the female terminal (). A retainer projection () is provided in a second housing (A) and projects along a fit-in direction of the first and second housings (A,A). The retainer projection () penetrates into the flexibility allowance space () as the first and second housings (A,A) are fit together to prevent the lance () from flexing in an unlocking direction.
