A driving unit includes a rotary electric machine which has a rotation axis extending in a horizontal direction, a rotary electric machine case, and an electric power conversion device. The electric power conversion device is disposed on one side of the rotary electric machine in an orthogonal direction. A first coolant is stored in a rotary electric machine accommodating portion of the rotary electric machine case. The driving unit has a first connecting portion electrically connecting the rotary electric machine and the electric power conversion device and a second connecting portion electrically connecting a sensor provided to the rotary electric machine and the electric power conversion device. The first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are disposed between the rotary electric machine and the electric power conversion device in the orthogonal direction.

Driving unit and vehicle

A driving unit includes a rotary electric machine which has a rotation axis extending in a horizontal direction, a rotary electric machine case, and an electric power conversion device. The electric power conversion device has an electric power conversion device case and is disposed on one side of the rotary electric machine in an orthogonal direction. The electric power conversion device case is fixed to the rotary electric machine case. At either the electric power conversion device case or the rotary electric machine case, a guide portion protruding in the orthogonal direction and extending in the rotation axis direction is formed above a connecting portion where the rotary electric machine and the electric power conversion device are electrically connected.

Driving unit

Disclosed is a motor unit that includes: a rotary electrical machine that has a cylindrical stator, a rotor disposed coaxially with the stator, a shaft disposed coaxially with the rotor, and a cylindrical case that houses the stator and the rotor; and a drive unit that has a swell swelling toward the case and is fixed to a circumferential surface that is located in a radial direction of the rotor and is the case. The case has a recess that corresponds to the swell.

Motor unit

A drive unit includes: a rotating electric machine having a rotation axis extending in a horizontal direction; a rotating electric machine case; and a power conversion device. The power conversion device is arranged on one side of the rotating electric machine in an orthogonal direction. The power conversion device includes a first connector to which a first electric power line through which electric power supplied to the rotating electric machine and electric power supplied from the rotating electric machine flow are connected. The first connector is provided on a first end side and is arranged to protrude from the power conversion device at a predetermined angle in a direction away from the rotating electric machine in the orthogonal direction, as the first connector goes away from the power conversion device in the rotation axis direction, when viewed from above.

Drive unit

A vehicle includes a drive unit. The driving unit includes an electric rotary machine and a power conversion device. The drive unit is connected to a cooling liquid introduction pipe for introducing a cooling liquid to the drive unit, and the drive unit is connected to a cooling liquid discharge pipe for discharging the cooling liquid from the drive unit. The cooling liquid introduction pipe is connected to a cooling liquid introduction pipe connecting portion. The cooling liquid discharge pipe is connected to a cooling liquid discharge pipe connecting portion. The cooling liquid introduction pipe connecting portion and the cooling liquid discharge pipe connecting portion are provided above a lower end portion of the drive unit to connect the cooling liquid introduction pipe and the cooling liquid discharge pipe from the vehicle width direction of the drive unit.

Vehicle

A vehicle including a housing supported on a framework member of the vehicle via a supporting member, a liquid medium supply unit fixed to the housing and driven by a motor to supply a liquid medium to a cooled or lubricated portion, and a first atmosphere communicating mechanism that establishes a communication between an inside of a motor portion of the liquid medium supply unit and atmosphere, the first atmosphere communicating mechanism including a volumetric member that is disposed apart from the liquid medium supply unit in a position higher than the liquid medium supply unit, that has a predetermined volumetric space, and that is fixed to the housing.

A vehicle drive apparatus includes a motor, a case, a cover member, a sensor, and a separate member. The case includes a reservoir to store liquid fluid. The sensor is provided in a first communication hole of the cover member and is fixed to the cover member. A second communication hole constitutes a part of a fluid flow path extending from an inside of the case to an outside of the case. The fluid flow path has an intake port through which the liquid fluid is to be drawn. The fluid flow path includes an inside fluid flow path provided from the second communication hole to the intake port. The separate member is fixed to the cover member to define the inside fluid flow path.

Vehicle drive apparatus

A first electric motor cooling flow passage (A) and a first electric motor lubrication flow passage (A) supply oil from an electric oil pump () through the outer side of one end (E) of the first electric motor (A) to the portions (A, A) of the first electric motor (A) which are to be cooled/lubricated. A second electric motor cooling flow passage (B) and a second electric motor lubrication flow passage (B) supply oil from the electric oil pump () through the outer side of the other end (E) of the second electric motor (B) to the portions (B, B) of the second electric motor (B) which are to be cooled/lubricated.

Vehicle driving device

A drive device for a vehicle includes a first motor, a first case, a second motor, a second case, a right-and-left communication passage, and a sensor. The first case houses the first motor and has a left reservoir to store liquid fluid. The second case houses the second motor and has a right reservoir to store liquid fluid. The right-and-left communication passage communicates with the left reservoir and the right reservoir. The sensor is configured to detect a property of the liquid fluid and disposed in the right-and-left communication passage.

Drive device for vehicle

A hybrid vehicle includes an internal combustion engine, an exhaust passageway, and a driving system having a first and a second motors and a housing which houses the first and the second motors. The driving system is disposed further rearwards than the internal combustion engine in a front-rear direction of the vehicle. The exhaust passageway extends from the internal combustion engine towards a rear side of the vehicle and is disposed so as to surround: a first plane passing through a front end of the housing and perpendicular to the front-rear direction; a second plane passing through a rear end of the housing and perpendicular to the front-rear direction; a third plane passing through a left end of the housing and perpendicular to a left-right direction; and a fourth plane passing through a right end of the housing and perpendicular to the left-right direction.

The drive deviceA further includes: a one-way power transmission device that transmits the one-way rotation power of the electric motorsA andB to the axlesA andB; and a two-way power transmission device that transmits the two-way rotation power of the electric motorsA andB to the axlesA andB. The one-way power transmission device and the two-way power transmission device are disposed on transmission passages from the electric motorsA andB to the axlesA andB.

Drive device and vehicle with same

A rear-wheel drive system includes motors for generating driving force to drive a vehicle, hydraulic brakes on power transmission lines between the motors and rear wheels switching a motors side and a wheels side to a connected state or a disconnected state, an ECU controlling the motors and the brakes and a one-way clutch in parallel with the hydraulic brakes on the transmission line configured to be engaged when a forward rotational power on the motors side is inputted into the wheels side and disengaged when a backward rotational power on the motors side is inputted into the wheels side and vice versa. The ECU causes the hydraulic brakes to be applied so as to put the motors side and the wheels side in the connected state when the forward rotational power on the motors side is inputted into the wheels side.
