In the design of a mechanical component for a mechanical device driven by a feedback controlled electric motor, the user is enabled to easily know how the properties of mechanical component affect the generation of abnormal vibrations of the mechanical device. In a design assist apparatus (), the processor () is configured to set a plurality of parameters of a mathematical model of an analysis target component selected from one or more mechanical components () forming the mechanical device, compute a pole of a transfer function of the mechanical device associated with one or more vibration modes of the mechanical device according to the parameters, and create a stability determination diagram including an isoline of a real part of the pole of the transfer function.

A relay apparatus () is provided with: an image output unit (); switches (SWa, SWb); a control unit () for controlling switches; and an obtaining unit () for obtaining a first CEC address associated with the relay apparatus if the relay apparatus is connected to an output apparatus (). The control unit controls switches to select a signal channel connecting a first signal transmitting device () and a storage apparatus () if the first CEC address and a reproduction command are received. After connecting the relay apparatus and a unit (), the control unit controls switches to select the signal channel connecting the first signal transmitting device and a second signal transmitting device () if the unit is in a video output state, and controls switches to select the signal channel connecting the first signal transmitting device and the image output unit if the unit is in a standby state.

A receiving circuit includes a frame memory to store received data of one frame, a de-rate matching circuit to generate data before encoding by reading the received data from the frame memory and performing de-rate matching in a reverse manner to rate matching performed on the received data at a transmitting end, and a TTI memory to store the data before encoding.

To provide a decoder and decoding method capable of reducing the number of times received data is decoded. A decoder according to the present invention includes: a Viterbi decoder decoding received data; a decode data length storage area storing a decode data length; a decoded data temporary storage area storing temporary storage data as decoded data up to a decode data length; a maximum data storage memory storing maximum decoded data as decoded data up to a maximum data length; a maximum-likelihood detection circuit selecting a decode data length based on likelihood information; and a decoded data reconstruction circuit replacing a part of maximum decoded data with temporary decoded data.

Decoding apparatus and decoding method

A CDMA baseband receiver includes a first correlating unit, a long code phase candidate outputting section and a long code determining section. The first correlating unit calculates first correlation values from a spread modulation signal and a short code which is common to base stations. The long code phase candidate outputting section outputs selected long code phase candidates corresponding to ones selected from the first correlation values, based on the spread modulation signal, and determined long codes. The selected long code phase candidates are other than long code phase candidates for known ones of the base stations. The long code determining section generates the determined long codes for unknown ones of the base stations from the spread modulation signal, the short code, and long codes generated based on the selected long code phase candidates. Each long code is peculiar to one base station.

The present invention provides a sound source controlling device in which the processing load required for interpretation of music data may be varied, depending upon the CPU load. The interval of music data interpretation is changed, without changing the music data itself, and the reproduced music composition is not changed in tempo. A system load judgment unit 152 compares the system load information acquired by a system load information acquisition unit 151, with a threshold value stored in a system load threshold value holding unit 153, and accordingly selects a timer interrupt interval held by a timer interrupt interval holder 131. A time information supervisor 143 supervises the acquisition of music paper data held by a music paper data holder, responsive to the timer interrupt interval held by an internal resolution holder 145. A sound enunciation/sound erasure information controller 144 controls a sound source based upon the acquired music paper data.
