Displacement symmetry of a diaphragm is improved to prevent the occurrence of troubles such as diaphragm rolling or the occurrence of abnormal noise, thereby providing high reproduced sound quality. The diaphragm includes an annular edge portion having a convex radial cross section formed by molding a sheet-like member or a film-like member. The edge portion has a plurality of rotationally symmetrical recessed ribs formed by recessing a convex surface. The plurality of recessed ribs includes at least a first rib disposed along a first prescribed line intersecting, at an angle of 45&#xb0;, a first radial line passing a center point, and a second rib arranged in a position not intersecting but adjacent to the first rib and disposed along a second prescribed line intersecting the second radial line at a predetermined angle of less than 45&#xb0;.

An edge portion of a diaphragm is configured such that multiple recessed ribs formed by recessing of a raised surface are provided in an inclination direction inclined with respect to a radial line passing through a center point and are arranged rotationally symmetrically, and among the recessed ribs and a fixing portion defined on the outermost peripheral side of the diaphragm, defines an outer peripheral edge portion at which no recessed ribs are formed. A voice coil is coupled to a voice coil attachment portion. A lead line is fixed with a first adhesive forming a first adhesive layer along a valley portion defined between a certain recessed rib and an adjacent recessed rib thereof on a back side of the edge portion, and is further fixed with a second adhesive forming a second adhesive layer with the lead line being curved along the outer peripheral edge portion.

A method is provided for manufacturing a speaker diaphragm manufactured using a sheet material made of magnesium or magnesium alloy and including an annular cone portion along an outer peripheral edge of a dome portion. The method includes a dome preformation process of forming a dome preformation portion; a cone preformation process of forming an annular cone preformation portion; and a shaping process of shaping the dome preformation portion into the dome portion by pressing, shaping the cone preformation portion into the cone portion whose outer peripheral end at least extends to a substantially identical height position to a maximum protrusion position of the dome portion, and forming, along a boundary portion between the dome portion and the cone portion, an annular step portion to which a voice coil bobbin is attached.

Method for manufacturing a speaker diaphragm

There are provided a headphone and an electrodynamic speaker unit exhibiting proper vibration characteristics and excellent reproduced sound quality. First, second, and third coupling portions of a frame of the headphone defining adjacent two opening holes extend from a magnetic circuit fixing portion to a diaphragm fixing portion such that each of the first, second, and third coupling portions is inclined with respect to a radial line passing through a center point, and are formed such that a first separation distance between the first coupling portion and the second coupling portion and a second separation distance between the second coupling portion and the third coupling portion in a circumferential direction are different from each other and that the opening hole areas of at least two opening holes are unequal to each other.

A loudspeaker diaphragm includes a diaphragm portion and an edge portion, which is molded integrally with the diaphragm portion and made of a material different from a material for the diaphragm portion. The edge portion contains at least one thermoplastic polymer (I), in combination with a block polymer (II). The at least one thermoplastic polymer (I) is selected from a block copolymer (I-a) which contains a polymer block (A) having a repeating structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and a polymer block (B) having a repeating structural unit derived from a conjugated diene, and an addition hydrogenated block copolymer (I-b) of the block copolymer (I-a). The block copolymer (II) contains a polymer block (C) having a repeating structural unit derived from an olefin compound and a polymer block (D) having a repeating structural unit derived from a (meth)acrylic compound.

Loudspeaker diaphragm and loudspeaker using the same

An electrodynamic speaker in which the number of steps of forming a tinsel wire to be connected to a voice coil and connecting the tinsel wire to a terminal can be reduced is provided. A frame of the electrodynamic speaker includes an edge mounting section, a magnetic circuit mounting section, a coupling section for coupling the edge mounting section and the magnetic circuit mounting section so as to define a plurality of window sections, a terminal fixing section for fixing a terminal, and at least one void for dividing the edge mounting section having an approximately annular shape, the void being communicatively connected to the window sections of the coupling section. A middle portion of the tinsel wire passes through the void or the window sections communicatively connected to the void, and the other end of the tinsel wire is connected and fixed to the terminal.

A loudspeaker diaphragm according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a diaphragm portion; and an edge portion, which is molded integrally with the diaphragm portion and made of a material different from a material for the diaphragm portion, wherein: the diaphragm portion includes, at an outer peripheral end thereof, an outer wall portion provided upright in a direction substantially parallel to a vibrating direction of the diaphragm portion; an inner peripheral surface of the edge portion is bonded onto an outer peripheral surface of the outer wall portion; and the outer wall portion has a height larger than a thickness of the diaphragm portion.

The speaker member includes: a base material; and a resin film layer laminated on the base material through an adhesive layer. The adhesive layer has a heat shrinkage ratio of 0.5 to 1.0%; the resin film layer has a heat shrinkage ratio of 0.8 to 1.3%; and the heat shrinkage ratio of the adhesive layer is smaller than the heat shrinkage ratio of the resin film layer. The method of manufacturing a speaker comprises the steps of: applying a predetermined resin composition on a release material; drying the resin composition, so as to form a resin film layer on the release material; applying a predetermined adhesive on the resin film layer, so as to form an adhesive layer; attaching together the resin film layer formed on the release material and a base material through the adhesive layer, so as to form a laminate; subjecting the laminate to aging; and molding the laminate subjected to aging by using a metal mold having a predetermined shape.

There is provided: a lightweight peripheral component for audio equipment having a good balance between a large internal loss and excellent mechanical properties, and having excellent thermal resistance, dimensional stability, and an excellent S/N ratio; and a speaker using the same. The peripheral component for audio equipment of the present invention contains a polyphenylene ether-based resin (A), a polystyrene-based resin (B), and a polyolefin-based resin (C).

A loudspeaker component is made of a resin composition containing, as a main constituent, a syndiotactic polyolefin or syndiotactic polystyrene having an Mw/Mn value of no more than 4 or less.
