The invention includes a vehicle main body, a boom, a first actuator connecting the boom and the vehicle main body and configured to rotate the boom with respect to the vehicle main body about a first central axis, a first electric motor connected to the first actuator and that operates the first actuator. The boom includes a pair of boom lateral plates disposed to face each other in a direction of the first central axis, and a boom bottom plate connecting the boom lateral plates to each other, the first electric motor being disposed in a boom internal space surrounded by the pair of boom lateral plates and the boom bottom plate.

A first engaging hole and a second engaging hole are formed in a fan-shaped standing portion which is fixed to a vehicle body frame and concentrically constructed with respect to a tilt direction of a the driver's cabin with a hinge shaft as a center of tilting. The first and second engaging holes respectively correspond to a tilt down position and a tilt up position of the driver's cabin. The standing portion is inserted into an actuating member fixed to a driver's cabin frame, and a locking pin urged by a spring is slidably disposed to the actuating member. Since the locking pin slides on a surface of the standing portion, the locking pin can be automatically engaged with the first or second engaging hole.

A work vehicle is provided that permits easy routine daily inspection services of a rear mounted engine in the vehicle. The vehicle has a cab covering a rear engine compartment. The cab is pivotally mounted on the frame of the vehicle. An engine hood is in turn pivotally mounted on the cab and covers the engine in the engine compartment. Accordingly, the hood can be pivoted or rotated to expose the engine for routine daily maintenance while the cab and the engine hood can be pivoted or rotated to expose the entire engine compartment for periodic heavy duty maintenance.
