The container unit type cogeneration engine generator comprises a long generator container in which an engine and components on a generator main body side including a generator driven by the engine are accommodated, and a short exhaust heat utilizing container in which a boiler that generates steam and hot water for hot-water supply by utilizing exhaust heat of the engine and an exhaust heat utilizing apparatus including a heat exchanger are accommodated. A combination container unit is configured so that shorter walls on one end side of the both containers in a longer direction are positioned on a same straight line, and making both longer walls of the long generator container and the short exhaust heat utilizing container to face each other. Both containers are coupled with a plurality of pipes along the shorter direction of the containers across the facing walls along which the both containers are arranged.

While a camera portion and a body portion having a display portion or a recording portion are separated from each other, a signal can be bidirectionally communicated between them by wireless communication circuits which are respectively provided in the camera portion and the body portion. A camera control circuit included in the camera portion transmits, to the body portion by wireless communication, information concerning a remaining amount of energy of a battery of the camera portion or information concerning a photographing state of the camera portion. A recording apparatus for recording an information signal on a recording medium is arranged to be controlled according to control information read out from an external storage device which is attachable and detachable to and from the recording apparatus, so that the apparatus is not only simply operable but also has diverse functions. One of the features of the apparatus lies in that the timing of start or stop of recording can be synchronized with that of a signal combining action or a signal fade-in or fade-out action.

A photographic optical system and a viewfinder are disposed above a recorder casing for recording a signal obtained by photography. The photographic optical system and the viewfinder are disposed so as not to overlap each other in a direction parallel to an optical axis of the photographic optical system and so that an optical path of the photographic optical system and an optical path of the viewfinder overlap each other as viewed on an extended line of the optical axis of the photographic optical system. In addition, the photographic optical system is disposed above the recorder casing, and the recorder casing is arranged to eject downward a recording medium for recording of a signal obtained by photography. An image forming apparatus of this invention relates to an image forming apparatus for forming a color image and, more particularly, to a projector using the image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus includes a color light illuminating system having first and second light sources for emitting different color light components, and first, second, and third imaging units or liquid crystal light valves for modulating the color light components to form color images. The first light source is a light source for mainly emitting two color components corresponding to the images formed by the first and second imaging units, and the second light source is a color light source for mainly emitting a color component corresponding to the image formed by the third imaging unit.

When the grip and the operation part are in an open state, the tape cassette is mountable and demountable while the operation part is held in a predetermined operating position. Further, while the apparatus is in the shooting state, the operation keys are kept in an inoperable position.

In a system for reading out an information signal stored in a memory and recording it on a recording medium, renewal of the address of the memory is performed in synchronism with the recording operation, thereby making it possible to record the information signal on the recording medium continuously despite intermittent performance of recording. The address of the memory is returned by a predetermined amount in synchronism with renewal of the address of the memory or the recording operation. Thereby it is also possible to assure good continuity of the recorded information signals. Further, the above-described processing is made easier by making the address of the memory controllable in units of track on the recording medium.

A video system is constructed of an auxiliary unit and a primary unit. The auxiliary unit includes a memory for storing a plurality of image data corresponding to an area occupying a portion of one picture, a plurality of location data indicative of the respective locations of the plurality of image data in the one picture and a plurality of color data indicative of respective colors relative to the plurality of image data. The primary unit includes an inputting circuit for inputting a first color video signal, a forming circuit for forming a second color video signal according to the plurality of image data, the plurality of location data and the plurality of color data which are supplied from the auxiliary unit and a combining circuit for combining the first video signal with the second video signal. The video system is capable of producing a variety of comined images with a relatively small memory capacity.
