A router includes an illumination part having an LED, and the illumination part is accommodated in an illumination accommodation portion of a holding ring and held by the holding ring. Here, a restriction portion of the holding ring is arranged adjacent to a lower side of a positioning rib of a stator and restricts downward movement of the stator. Thus, the illumination part can be held using the holding ring that restricts the downward movement of the stator. Accordingly, the illumination part can be mounted in the router using a member that holds the illumination part and a member that restricts the downward movement of the stator as a common member. In this manner, the periphery of a tip tool can be illuminated by the illumination part, while preventing an increase in the number of components.

Work machine

Provided is a power tool capable of suitably fixing an auxiliary member to a base pedestal. The power tool has a base having a sliding surface capable of sliding on a workpiece, and an auxiliary member that is attachable to the base and has a guiding surface. The power tool also has a wing bolt and a leaf spring as a pressing mechanism capable of pressing an extension part of the auxiliary member. An operator can change a pressing force of the wing bolt to the auxiliary member by changing the position of the wing bolt in a pressing direction. The leaf spring applies a predetermined pressing force to the auxiliary member even in the absence of the pressing force of the wing bolt to the auxiliary member.

A work machine that has: a motor that has a rotary shaft; a bearing that rotatably supports the rotary shaft; and a motor housing part that houses the motor. The motor housing part can be divided into at least two segments in the axial direction of the rotary shaft. At least one of the two segments: forms an integral structure that cannot be divided; and supports the bearing.

The electric tool is provided with: a brushless motor; a controller for controlling the drive of the brushless motor; and an inverter circuit supplied with a pulsation voltage obtained by rectifying an AC power supply input in a full-wave manner and electrifying the brushless motoraccording to a control signal of the controller. The controller can change the electrical advance angle of the brushless motor. The controller detects the motor current flowing through the brushless motor and increases the electrical advance angle when the motor current reaches a predetermined threshold value.

A power tool includes a brushless motor, a supplying circuit, and a controller. The brushless motor is configured to drive and rotate when a voltage applied to the brushless motor is larger than or equal to an induced voltage. The supplying circuit is configured to apply a driving voltage to the brushless motor. The controller is configured to control the supplying circuit. The supplying circuit includes a rectifying circuit, a capacitor, and a switching circuit. The rectifying circuit is configured to rectify an alternating voltage and output a rectified voltage. The capacitor is configured to smooth the voltage inputted via the rectifying circuit. The switching circuit is configured to perform a switching operation based on a PWM signal to adjust a period during which the driving voltage is applied. The controller is configured to set a duty ratio within a prescribed range, and output the PWM signal of the set duty ratio to the switching circuit to control the switching operation. The controller is configured to perform a constant-number-of-rotation control for controlling the brushless motor to rotate at a target rotation number by changing the duty ratio. The capacitor has a capacitance allowing a smoothed voltage to be always larger than or equal to the induced voltage during the constant-number-of-rotation control.

A power planer includes a casing, a motor having rotation shaft, a power supply portion for supplying electric power to the motor, a control portion, a cutter block, and a fan. The casing has intake and discharge openings and provides an air passage from the intake opening to the discharge opening. The control portion is connected to the electric motor and to the power supply portion. The cutter block has an axis parallel to the rotation shaft, and is supported to the casing and rotatable about the axis. A blade is provided in the cutter block. The fan is provided in the casing and configured to generate air stream within the casing and flowing along the air passage in a flowing direction. The air passage includes a control portion cooling passage for cooling the latter. The fan is positioned downstream of the control portion in the flowing direction.
