A lens controller of a camera device includes: a driving amount calculator that samples, for each first time period, a lens position signal indicating a lens position detected by a lens position detector and a target position signal indicating a target position of a focus lens on an optical axis transmitted from a control unit and calculates a driving amount output of the focus lens based on the sampled lens position signal and target position signal; an up-sampling unit that performs up-sampling on the driving amount output obtained by the driving amount calculator at a second time period which is a period obtained by dividing the first time period by an integer; and a resonance suppression calculator that performs calculation on a result obtained by sampling the driving amount output at the second time period to suppress a higher-order resonant frequency component in a specified resonant frequency band.

The object of the present invention is to provide an imaging apparatus capable of preventing the degradation of image quality associated with a temperature rise in an image pickup device despite that an electronic viewfinder is usable. An imaging apparatus including an image pickup device for capturing a subject image to acquire it as image data and capable of viewing a subject by selecting either of a first finder mode for optical viewing of the subject image and a second finder mode for displaying the image data on a display unit to allow viewing of the image data, the imaging apparatus comprises: a temperature detection circuit for measuring the temperature of the image pickup device; a finder mode switching instruction part for switching between the first finder mode and the second finder mode; and a controller for inhibiting switching from the first finder mode to the second finder mode performed by the finder mode switching instruction part when the temperature exceeds a first threshold.

A tracking control unit for an optical disk drive comprises a TES detection circuit for detecting a tracking error signal (TES) in an output of a photodetector included in a stationary optical system, a frictional state prediction circuit for predicting a frictional state between guide shafts and a carriage on the basis of the TES detected by the TES detection circuit, a phase compensation filter for compensating for a phase difference of the TES detected by the TES detection circuit so as to stabilize a tracking control system on the basis of the result of the prediction performed by the frictional state prediction circuit, and a driver for moving the carriage in a direction in which a tracking error can be corrected for according to an output of the phase compensation filter and for thus controlling tracking.
