A clip includes a clip body, and a pin inserted into the clip body. The clip body includes a main body head portion having a through-hole for inserting the pin, a leg portion extending from the head, and an elastic engaging piece elastically deformable, and projecting outward from the leg portion. The pin includes a pin head portion provided with a tool-engaging portion engaging a tool for a rotational operation, and a pin shaft portion having small and large diameter portions. The main body head portion includes an inclined surface inclined from one end side toward another end side in an axial direction of the through-hole. The pin includes a guide portion slidingly contacting with the inclined surface. When the pin rotates inside the clip main body, the pin advances and retracts between a first position allowing an inward elastic deformation and a second position controlling an inward elastic deformation.

Clip for fixing two members

Two twist-preventing members are respectively placed against the top and the bottom of an airbag body. The length direction of the twist-preventing members aligns with the length direction of the airbag body. The airbag body, the twist-preventing members, and a tab have been covered with a heat-shrinkable film in said state, and the heat-shrinkable film has been shrunken by heat.

Airbag device and covering method for airbag body

Since an airbag module is supported in an interior of a steering wheel via an elastic body so as to be capable of vibrating, the airbag module vibrates while deforming the elastic body to thus function as a dynamic damper, thereby enabling vibration of the steering wheel to be suppressed. Since the elastic body is formed from a support pin itself, which supports the airbag module on the frame of the steering wheel, compared with a case in which the support pin and the elastic body are formed from separate members, it is possible to reduce the number of components and the number of assembly steps. A part of the support pin may form the elastic body, and the entirety of the support pin may form the elastic body.

Vibration reducing structure for steering wheel

Tether clip locks garnish to vehicle body pillar, and when airbag body expands, tether clip releases garnish from vehicle body pillar without breaking garnish and prevents flying of garnish. Tether clip covers, from vehicle interior side, vehicle body pillar in which airbag body is housed, wherein tether clip locks garnish to vehicle body pillar. Tether clip includes: inner locking portion locked to pillar garnish; outer locking portion locked to vehicle body pillar; connecting portion for connecting inner locking portion and outer locking portion; and wire for tethering inner locking portion and outer locking portion to each other, wherein connecting portion is formed fragile against pressing force that is generated when airbag body presses garnish by expanding and developing, and wherein wire is wound around either inner locking portion or outer locking portion in direction around axis extending from inner locking portion to outer locking portion.

Tether clip

An airbag device provided in a side of a vehicle seat, which device comprises a case for accommodating a folded airbag. The case has a lid and a wall. The lid has tear lines formed so as to rupture when the airbag deploys and separate the lid into a plurality of parts. A hinge is formed on a boundary between the lid and the wall.

Vehicle airbag device

This curtain-type airbag apparatus is provided with: an airbag which is arranged along a top edge of a vehicle body and develops in a curtain-shape manner along an inside of a window; and an inner cover which covers a vehicle interior side of the airbag. The inner cover is supported by the vehicle body via a hinge member having a reversed U-shape.

Curtain-type airbag apparatus and airbag module

An airbag apparatus equipped with an airbag, a garnish, a hinge, a protector and a bracket fixed to a vehicle body. An upper side of the garnish is supported by the bracket via the hinge. An engaging part protruding from the lower part of a garnish main part is engaged with an engagement receiving part disposed at the protector. Normally, the engaging part is engaged with the engagement receiving part, thereby retaining the shape of the garnish. On expansion of the airbag, the airbag presses the engaging part, by which the engaging part is disengaged from the engagement receiving part, and the garnish is opened smoothly. The airbag can be covered with the garnish, thereby allowing the garnish to move smoothly on expansion of the airbag.

Airbag apparatus

A belt-like protruding portionextending longitudinally is provided on an air bag coverwhich covers a folded air bag. In the event that the air bagis twisted when the air bagis mounted on a vehicle body, a longitudinal dimension of the air bagis contracted largely, whereby an interval between adjacent mounting portionsis decreased, thereby the fixing of the air bagbeing disabled. As a result, the fixing of the air bagin the twisted state is prevented assuredly, and the smooth deployment of the air bagis enabled. A rod-like twist preventing member may be fixed longitudinally along the folded air baginstead of the belt-like protruding portion
