A first bracket supporting a first lower arm includes a front wall part and a rear wall part that face each other in a vehicle longitudinal direction. Respective insertion holes, through which a supporting bolt pivotably supporting the first lower arm is inserted, are formed in the front wall part and the rear wall part so as to face each other. Furthermore, the front wall part includes a fracture starting point formed in a region on an outside, in a vehicle width direction, from a center position of the insertion hole. Consequently, it is possible to separate a front wheel from a vehicle body at the time of collision without providing any fragile part such as a cutout in the lower arm.

Lower arm supporting bracket and lower arm supporting mechanism including the same

A rear structure () of a vehicle is provided in which a lower back reinforcement () is provided longitudinally forward of a lower back panel (). A gusset () connects the lower back reinforcement () and a rear floor side member () in a longitudinally and laterally oblique direction. Accordingly, when a collision load is applied to the vehicle from an oblique rear direction of the vehicle, the change in the angle formed by the lower back reinforcement () and the rear floor side member () is suppressed and the rigidity against such a collision load is thus improved.

Rear structure of vehicle

A door trim energy absorbing structure. A door trim is provided at a vehicle inner side of a door member. An energy absorbing member is provided at the door trim so as to correspond to a position in a vicinity of a femur of a vehicle occupant. The energy absorbing member absorbs energy from a vehicle exterior.
