A method and system for providing a companion autonomous vehicle are described. In one embodiment, a method includes linking a companion autonomous vehicle to at least one vehicle, device, or user. The companion autonomous vehicle is tethered to the at least one vehicle, device, or user such that the companion autonomous vehicle is configured to stay within a predetermined range of the at least one vehicle, device, or user. The method further includes operating the companion autonomous vehicle to travel along with the tethered at least one vehicle, device, or user within the predetermined range.

Method and system for providing an equipped autonomous vehicle to a destination

A method and system provides an equipped autonomous vehicle to a destination. In one embodiment, a method for providing an equipped autonomous vehicle to a destination includes receiving a request from a user for an equipped autonomous vehicle. The request includes at least one selected activity and a destination. The method includes determining, from the request, a set of equipment for the at least one selected activity and providing the equipped autonomous vehicle with the set of equipment for the at least one selected activity. The method also includes instructing the equipped autonomous vehicle to travel to the destination requested by the user.

According to one aspect, energy management or battery pack distribution may be achieved by receiving a location associated with a portable battery dispensing vehicle which carries or stocks modular battery replacement packs for electric vehicles, determining a location of a mobile device associated with the system for energy management, displaying the location associated with the portable battery dispensing vehicle and the location associated with the mobile device, receiving a request associated with a purchase of one of the modular battery replacement packs carried by the portable battery dispensing vehicle, and generating an instruction to credit an associated account with a virtual energy credit based on the request associated with the purchase of one or more of the modular battery replacement packs.

Energy management

An engine system is provided, including a housing, multiple shafts in alignment and in parallel with each other, vertically penetrating through the housing, multiple wing sections integratively attached around the multiple shafts, respectively, and configured to engage with each adjacent one to drive axial rotation, and multiple ducts attached to the housing and communicating with inside of the housing, each duct being for use for passing an air-fuel mixture or outputting exhaust gases. The air-fuel mixture is collected in at least two open sections associated with the first wing section, and the collected air-fuel mixture is compressed and ignited for combustion when each of the at least two open sections has a minimum volume. Chemical energy generated by the combustion is used to drive the axial rotation of each wing section, thereby individually rotating the multiple shafts to transmit power.
