A telescopic device includes a telescopic tubular structure and an inner guide member. The outer belt and the inner belt of the tubular structure are provided with a plurality of protrusions and holes provided in two rows in the longitudinal direction. The inner guide member has a first helical groove and a second helical groove extending along a plurality of projections respectively provided in one row on the tip side and the base side of the tubular structure. The first straight line connects the end of the fitting portion where the first spiral groove and a part of the plurality of projections of the inner belt are fitted and the center axis of the cylindrical structure. A second straight line connects the terminal end of the second spiral groove and the central axis. The angle between the second straight line and the first straight line is less than 180 degrees.

Extension-retraction device

The spiral advance/retreat actuation device includes a first strip material, a second strip material, an inner guide member as a strip material guide unit, an outer cylindrical wall, and a strip material storage container. The strip material storage container includes a first storage chamber that spirally stores a first strip material that has transitioned from a cylindrical configuration state to a separated state, and a second storage chamber that spirally stores a second strip material that has transitioned from a cylindrical configuration state to a separated state. The inner bottom surface of the first storage chamber and the inner bottom surface of the second storage chamber are sloped so as to descend as they move away from the axis.

Spiral advance/retreat actuation device

A positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve installation structure for installing a PCV valve of an engine on an engine body includes: a blow-by gas recirculation system that includes a ventilation hose that connects the engine body to an intake device introducing outside air into the engine body and that has a recirculation passage recirculating blow-by gas arising in the engine body to the intake device and an oil cooler device that exchanges heat between lubricating oil and a medium solution that is lower in temperature than the lubricating oil; and a cover that transfers heat of the oil cooler device to the PCV valve.

PCV valve installation structure

An internal combustion engine is provided that includes a combustion chamber; a secondary air passage located above the combustion chamber; an exhaust passage that communicates with the combustion chamber; and a water jacket that is located between the exhaust passage and the secondary air passage.

Internal combustion engine

A valve characteristic control apparatus for controlling the operation characteristics of the valves of an internal combustion engine driven by a camshaft is disclosed. A working oil supply control valve is arranged in a support member for supporting the camshaft. A first oil path and a second oil path for leading the working oil from the working oil supply control valve to the first and the second oil chambers include an annular first oil path and an annular second oil path formed in the camshaft and the slide portion of the support member for pivotally supporting the camshaft, a first and a second in-support member oil path for connecting the annular first oil path and the working oil supply control valve and for connecting the annular second oil path and the working oil supply control valve. A bearing metal is arranged between the annular oil paths and the cam-side openings of the in-support member oil paths, and at least one of the in-support member oil paths, after reaching the back of the metal bearing from the working oil supply control valve, extends in an axial direction along the back of the bearing metal and communicates with a corresponding annular oil path at a different axial position from the back point reached by the same in-support member oil path.
