A working vehicle that uses the output of an internal combustion engine () as a working power and a traveling power includes an accelerator pedal () that increases a rotation speed of the engine () when depressed and a transmission () that shifts a rotation of the engine () and applies the shifted rotation to the traveling power. A speed ratio control device of the transmission () calculates a first target vehicle speed (Wne) according to the rotation speed of the engine (), calculates a second target vehicle speed (Wu) according to a depression amount of the accelerator pedal (), and controls the speed ratio of the transmission () on the basis of the smaller of these target vehicle speeds. As a result, a vehicle speed according to the depression amount of the traveling accelerator pedal () is obtained even when the internal combustion engine () rotates at high speed.

A safety valve drive system is operated such that a safety valve of a nuclear power plant is opened by supplying a driving gas by using a pilot valve at an occurrence of an accident or a transient state to thereby protect a reactor against pressure application. A swash plate type hydraulic pump or motor comprises first and second swash plates which move reciprocally while opposing first and second pistons, so as to expand and contract a volume chamber according to rotation of a cylinder block. Drive pistons push on the swash plates from behind, causing the first and second swash plates to tilt, respectively. A tilt angle control valve controls the tilt angles of the swash plates by selectively increasing drive pressures that are guided to the drive pistons. A port plate is provided in a sliding portion between the first swash plate and the first piston. The port plate rotates integrally with the cylinder block and guides high and low pressure side hydraulic fluid, which flows through the supply and discharge ports provided in a sliding surface of the first swash plate, to the volume chamber via an inner portion of each first piston.

A beam synthesizing member is included and has a first input part on which the first laser beam is incident, at least one other input part on which the at least one other laser beam is incident, and an output part from which the first laser beam emerging from the first input part and the at least one other laser beam emerging from the at least one other input part are multiplexed and emitted as a multiplexed laser beam. An optical fiber is positioned to receive the multiplexed laser beam therein.

Semiconductor laser module, manufacturing method thereof and optical amplifier

A semiconductor laser module having a package containing a semiconductor laser device and lead pins provided on both the side surfaces of the package . Since a base end portion of the lead pin is fixed to the side surface at a position higher than the bottom surface of the package , the lead pin can be laterally bent at a position higher than the bottom surface. Therefore, the semiconductor laser module can be mounted on the surface of the wiring board while the bottom surface of the package is in close contact with the wiring board . Thus, since a heat radiation path from the bottom surface of the package to the wiring board is secured, it is possible to reduce the instability in the operating characteristic of the semiconductor laser device due to the thermal effect.

Optical module

An optical connector ferrule is equipped with a fiber insertion hole composed of an introductory hole, an intermediate hole, and minute holes. The introductory hole has a sectional area, which allows insertion of the coated portions of optical fibers. The intermediate hole has a sectional area which does not allow insertion of the coated portions of the optical fibers but which allows insertion of bare fibers exposed in front of the coated portions. Each of the minute holes has a sectional area, which allows individual insertion of each of the forward end portions of the bare fibers inserted into the intermediate hole. Thus, the insertion length of the optical fibers in the fiber insertion hole is uniquely determined. In particular, the insertion length of the coated portions can be set a predetermined length easily and reliably.

An optical amplifier of the present invention comprises a pumping light source configured to output a pumping light, an amplifier unit configured to receive the pumping light from said pumping light source and amplify an optical signal that passes therethrough, and an optical fiber disposed between said pumping light source and said amplifier unit, said optical fiber including an optical filter that is configured to attenuate the optical signal from said amplifier unit.
