An X-ray CT apparatus includes a processing circuit. The processing circuit adjusts an image taking area of a subject by receiving an operation performed on a light projector provided on a gantry and further sets the adjusted image taking area as an image taking condition included in first image taking conditions; adjusts an image taking area of the subject by receiving an operator's operation via terminal equipment and further sets the adjusted image taking area as an image taking condition included in second image taking conditions; and causes the gantry to perform the image taking process on the basis of selection information selecting from between the first and the second image taking conditions as image taking conditions used for performing the image taking process.

X-ray CT apparatus

An X-ray CT apparatus includes a table-top, an X-ray tube, a detector and a processing circuitry. The processing circuitry reconstructs a CT image based on a detection signal. The processing circuitry sets a field of view based on positions of a puncture needle and a puncture target on the CT image. The processing circuitry controls an X-ray irradiation coverage based on the field of view, the X-ray irradiation coverage being an area irradiated with the X-rays. The processing circuitry displays a CT image reconstructed in the field of view on a display, after the X-rays based on the X-rays whose irradiation coverage is controlled emitted and the detection signal is outputted.

X-ray CT apparatus and display method for CT image

According to one embodiment, an X-ray CT apparatus includes an X-ray source, an X-ray detector, processing circuitry, a showing device, an image processing circuit, and a gantry device. The X-ray source irradiates an object with X-rays. The X-ray detector detects X-rays radiated by the X-ray source and passed through the object. The processing circuitry sets an irradiation section, which is a moving section of the X-ray source or the X-ray detector during X-ray irradiation. The showing device displays the irradiation section. The image processing circuit generates an X-ray CT image based on data obtained by the X-ray detector during the X-ray irradiation through the irradiation section. The gantry device is provided with the X-ray source, the X-ray detector, and the showing device.

X-ray CT apparatus and gantry device

According to one embodiment, an X-ray CT apparatus includes a body thickness information acquiring unit, a threshold determining unit and an image generating unit. The body thickness information acquiring unit acquires information of a body thickness of an object. The threshold determining unit determines a threshold of an exposure dose according to the body thickness of the object. The image generating unit generates an image indicating a relationship between the body thickness of the object and the threshold and displays a generated image on a display unit.

Obtain a tomographic image of a patient table in advance in a state in which the object is not placed on the patient table. Obtain a tomographic image of the patient table with the object placed on the patient table. This tomographic image consists of an image of a patient table. The displacement calculation part determines the vertical displacement of images of the patient table in a non-loaded state and the tomographic image of the patient table in a loaded state. Meanwhile, markers are placed on the side of the patient table to indicate the displacement detecting position (reference position). The corrected image-forming part corrects the vertical positions of image data of the tomographic image in the loaded state based on the calculated displacement.

Medical image diagnosis apparatus and the control method thereof

An X-ray computed tomographic apparatus includes an X-ray tube that generates X-ray, an X-ray detector that detects an X-ray passing through an object, a supporting member that rotatably supports the X-ray tube and the X-ray detector around a rotational axis, a reconstructing unit that reconstructs an image on the basis of an output of the X-ray detector, an information creating unit that creates information concerning an arrangement of an asymmetrical field of view of the object when the field of view of the scanogram by the X-ray tube and the X-ray detector is asymmetric with respect to an imaging center line in a direction perpendicular to the rotational axis, and a display unit that displays information concerning the created arrangement.

X-ray computed tomographic apparatus

A plurality of region-specific areas are set on a scanogram, and an image SD value is set for each region-specific area. A tube current calculating unit calculates a tube current value at each position on the basis of a tube current pattern in a tube current pattern storage unit, an image SD value for each region-specific area, and a CT value at each position on the scanogram in each region-specific area. A scan controller controls X-ray emission in accordance with a calculated tube current value at each position.

X-ray computed tomography apparatus

A plurality of axial images covering a region of interest in a subject to be treated are scanned and voxel data of the subject are produced from the axial images. The provisional location of an isocenter and the direction of radiation are determined over the axial images. A DRR of the subject viewed from the source of radiation is developed in accordance with the provisional isocenter location, the radiating direction, and the distance between the isocenter and the radiation source. The DRR is displayed together with three cross section images which represent an isocenter plane including the isocenter and arranged vertical to a line extending between the isocenter and the radiation source, a gantry rotation plane including the isocenter, and a plane including the isocenter and arranged vertical to both the isocenter plane and the gantry rotation plane. Each of the three cross section images indicates cross-hair ROI representing the other two planes and a cross-hair ROI representing the direction of radiation. The field of radiation is then determined over the three cross section images or the DRRs. The three cross section images and the DRRs can be updated in response to shift and rotation of the cross-hair ROIs.

Radiation therapy planning method and its system and apparatus

There is provided a radiotherapy system comprising: a radiotherapy planning CT system integratedly having an X-ray scanner member for acquiring image data of a diagnostic portion of a subject by irradiating X-rays to the subject, said diagnostic portion including a lesion, a radiotherapy planner member for displaying the image data and producing radiotherapy plan data including a position data of an isocenter and a contour data of a radiation field limiting radiations from a virtual radiation source irradiated into the diagnostic portion, and a positioning member for automatically pointing a marking position on the subject based on the position data of the isocenter; and a radiotherapy apparatus for carrying out radiotherapy on the basis of the therapy plan data.

Radiotherapy system

A computer tomography apparatus of the present invention can select one of an ON state in which X-ray radiation is performed to continuously acquire projection data and an OFF state in which acquisition of projection data is stopped, and even in the OFF state, rotation of an X-ray tube is continued, thus allowing quick switching from the OFF state to the ON state.
