A vehicle bumper reinforcement structure to increase energy absorption capacity is provided. The vehicle bumper reinforcement structure comprises a base member extending in the width direction of the vehicle that is attached to the vehicle at both width ends, and a first reinforcement member and a second reinforcement member attached to the base member at a width center of the vehicle. Widths of the reinforcement members are differentiated in such a manner to cause fracture of the base member at width ends of the reinforcement members by a predetermined collision impact applied to the width center of the base member.

Vehicle bumper reinforcement structure

A vehicle body impact absorption structure includes a bumper reinforcement, an upper vehicle body frame member, a lower vehicle body frame member, and an impact absorption box. The impact absorption box includes a rear portion, which is connected to the upper and lower vehicle body frame members, and a front portion, which is connected to the bumper reinforcement. The impact absorption box includes an upper impact absorption portion, which has a closed cross-section, a lower impact absorption portion, which has a closed cross-section, a front connection portion, which has a closed section, and a communication portion. The front connection portion connects the upper and lower impact absorption portions. The communication portion is located at the rear side of the front connection portion. The communication portion includes an opening extending through the impact absorption box in the lateral direction of the vehicle body.

Vehicle body impact absorption structure

Disclosed is a structure for a front part of a vehicle body including a front sidemember that extends in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle; a bumper reinforcement, at least a part of which is positioned at the same height as the front sidemember in a vertical direction of the vehicle, and extends in a lateral direction of the vehicle so as to face the front sidemember; and a support portion. The end portion of the bumper reinforcement has an extension portion that extends in the lateral direction of the vehicle up to a position which overlaps a wheel when seen from the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. At least a front surface of the bumper reinforcement in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and the extension portion have strength higher than that of other portions of the bumper reinforcement.

Structure for front part of vehicle body

The present invention provides a framework member by which the amount of impact absorption can be sufficiently ensured. The framework member is a framework member that is extended in a front and rear direction of a vehicle in a front portion of the vehicle. A plurality of deformation-inducing portions, in which deformations are induced by a load exerted from a front of the vehicle, are formed at points in the framework member along the front and rear direction of the vehicle. The plurality of deformation-inducing portions are alternately formed on an outer side and an inner side of the framework member along the front and rear direction of the vehicle. The closer the deformation-inducting portion is positioned to a rear of the vehicle, the greater a distance between the deformation-inducing portions becomes.

Framework member

To provide a vehicle-body side part structure that can achieve both weight reduction and collision performance. A side sillis constituted of an outer panel, an inner panellocated on the inside of the outer panelin the vehicle width direction, and a backup panellocated on the inside of the inner panelin the vehicle width direction. A backup panel central bulging portionbulging inward in the vehicle width direction is formed in a central portion in the vehicle longitudinal direction of the backup panel, an outer panel bead central portionrecessed inward in the vehicle width direction is formed in the outer panel, and an inner panel bead central portionrecessed outward in the vehicle width direction is formed in the inner panelto increase the rigidity in the vehicle width direction. An inner panel bead end portionrecessed outward in the vehicle width direction is formed in the inner panel, and a backup panel bead end portionprotruding inward in the vehicle width direction is formed in the backup panelto increase the rigidity in the vehicle longitudinal direction.

Vehicle-body side part structure

A vehicle underbody structure includes a floor panel that is provided to extend in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle body; a pair of rockers that are respectively provided along both side portions of the floor panel in the vehicle body to extend in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body; and a cross member that is mounted in a bridging manner between the pair of rockers to be apart from a floor surface of the floor panel, and that has strength greater than that of the rocker.

Vehicle underbody structure

A vehicle body rocker structure includes a plate-like inner member and a plate-like outer member that extend in a vehicle backward-forward direction and join with each other in a vehicle width direction as a structure member for constituting a rocker, wherein respective cross-sections of the inner member and the outer member include upper joint portions, lower joint portions, at least one convex portion caused to project to opposite sides joining therebetween, and concave portions disposed between the upper and lower joint portions as well as on a vehicle body upper and lower side of the convex portions, respectively, and the upper joint portions, the lower joint portions, and the convex portions of the inner member and the outer member are joined with each other, respectively and plural closed cross-sections are formed in the vehicle body up-down direction.

Vehicle body rocker structure

A vehicle pillar structure includes a reinforcement that is provided in a vehicle pillar and that includes a buckling portion and a strain reducing face portion, wherein the buckling portion serves as a starting point of buckling; and the strain reducing face portion is adjacent to the buckling portion in a lateral direction of the reinforcement and reduces strain that occurs when the buckling.

Vehicle pillar structure

A floor member includes a floor member front arranged at a front side and a floor member rear arranged at a rear side. A member rear upper is mounted on the floor member front. The floor member front and the floor member rear respectively have a front upper bead and a rear lower bead that extend in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle.

Lower structure of vehicle

There is provided a shock absorbing structure that can improve shock absorption performance by stabilizing the compressive deformation of a shock absorbing member in an axial direction. High-strength portions controlling deformation and low-strength portions controlling deformation are alternately disposed. Accordingly, when a shock is applied to a front side member from the front side of a vehicle, the front side member can be deformed in the shape of a bellows. Further, the respective low-strength portions, which are disposed closer to a rear end side in a longitudinal direction, have higher strength. Therefore, the front side member can be sequentially deformed from a front end side.

Shock absorbing structure

There is provided a framework structure of a vehicle where high productivity can be obtained, a reinforcement and an outer frame can be completely welded to each other, and the reinforcing ability of the reinforcing member can be sufficiently obtained when the reinforcing member is provided on the outer member. A plurality of protruding portions, which protrudes toward an outer member, is formed on the outer surface of a reinforcement of a center pillar. These protruding portions are disposed so as to be separated from each other in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement. Further, non-protruding portions where the protruding portions are not formed are formed in the vicinity of a belt line, and the protruding portions are formed at other positions.

Framework structure of vehicle

A front buckling point and a rear buckling point are set at non-end positions along a longitudinal direction of a front side member respectively. Further, the front buckling point and the rear buckling point are respectively arranged at different positions in the width and vertical directions of the front side member. The front buckling point is arranged on an outboard and upper side of the front side member. The rear buckling point is arranged on an inboard and lower side of the front side member.

Vehicle front structure

A vehicle body structure which is subject to a small deformation amount at the time of offset collision and a large deformation amount at the time of full-wrap collision. A floor panel includes a groove which extends from a flat portion to a lower dash panel in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and an upper floor member having an approximate U-shaped cross-section is accommodated inside the groove, so that a closed cross-section is formed. The upper floor member and the flat portion of the floor panel are connected to each other by being respectively welded to brackets. A floor cross member extending in the width direction of the vehicle is fixed to the flat portion across the groove.

Vehicle body structure

In a center pillar structure, the strength of a center pillar is locally low at a weak portion and at a weak portion. Thus, when a vehicle is hit on the side, the center pillar bends at the weak portion and at the weak portion, and the other vehicle advances substantially horizontally. This can reduce the bending moment generated in the center pillar due to advancement of the other vehicle, so it is possible to control deformation of the center pillar in the event of a side collision while ensuring the strength of the center pillar.

Pillar structure of vehicle and method for manufacturing the same

There is provided a framework structure for a vehicle where two members can be welded to each other even when the two members are disposed adjacent to each other and the extending directions thereof are changed, thereby improving strength. A kick portionof a front side memberincludes a kick lower memberof which an extending direction is changed so that a front portion of the kick lower member rises, and a long kick upper memberthat is provided along the kick lower member. The kick lower memberand the kick upper memberare joined to each other at a kick lower member flange middle portionC and a kick upper member flange middle portionC.
