An engagement member (), which is activated by operation of an operating button (), is configured to be protruded from and retracted into respective positioning recesses (), facilitating the positional adjustment of a lid () and securing a high position-retaining force for the lid () in normal use. In order to cope with an accidental external force, a base member () includes a cantilever member () formed of slits, and the cantilever member () has a positioning recess () formed in a leading portion such that the cantilever member () is flexed to bring the engagement member () out of engagement with the positioning recess () when a load having a certain value or more is applied through the engagement member ().

Console box

An exterior member mounting unit is used for installing an exterior member to a device, such as a vehicle roof. The mounting unit includes a first part detachably supporting the exterior member so that an upper surface thereof is covered by the exterior member, a second part detachably held by the first part, and a screw for attaching the exterior member to the device while utilizing the second part detachably supported by the first part as a seating plate.

A bumper fixture is interposed between an extended-directional end portion of a bumper and an auto body as to extend the extended-directional end portion of the bumper mounted on the auto body to form a part of a wheel house. The bumper fixture includes a mounting portion mountable to an extended-directional outer end wall of the bumper on one extended-directional end portion of the bumper, and the mounting portion is elastically deformable by a greater than predetermined load. A bumper mounting structure includes the bumper fixture such that an extended directional outer end wall of the bumper is mounted on the mounting portion.
