The present invention provides a pressure relief valve, which achieves a reliable sealed structure in a valve holder without the valve holder jutting far out from a common rail, assures stability of operation of a valve spring in a valve holder and is capable of being manufactured at low cost and can be made compact. A first invention relates to a pressure relief valve, which focuses on making the low-pressure portion side end portion of a valve holder a closed structure, and which has a valve spring that is housed inside the valve holder spring seats on which a valve spring is seated; a valve seat that is mounted to the valve holder and a valve body which is lifted from the valve seat by fluid pressure, this pressure relief valve being characterized in that there is formed a closed end portion which makes the low-pressure portion side end portion B of the valve holder a closed state, and, in addition, is constituted so as to enable a valve spring to be seated between the inner wall surface of closed end portion and a spring seat A second invention focuses on making the spring seats of valve spring a cup shape, and is characterized in that spring seats are housed in a slidable condition inside a valve holder as cup-shaped spring seats

Pressure relief valve

A pump for low-viscosity fuel comprises a pump shaft 6 installed in a pump housing 2, 3, 4 and divided into a drive-side shaft 6A and a driven-side shaft 6B, a partition 12 provided between the drive-side shaft and the driven-side shaft of the pump shaft to prevent leakage of fuel from the housing, and a magnetic coupling 13 for transferring torque from the drive-side shaft to the driven-side shaft of the pump shaft through the partition, the magnetic coupling being disposed such that a first clearance C1, D1 between the magnetic coupling and the partition is larger than a second clearance C2, D2 between the magnetic coupling and the pump housing. When wobble occurs in the pump shaft owing to wear of the sliding contact portions thereof, the magnetic coupling makes contact with the pump housing before contacting the partition, thereby enabling the rotation of the pump shaft to be stopped before fuel leakage occurs.

Clearance means to prevent fuel leakage in a radial piston pump

A radial piston pump for low-viscosity fuel according to a first aspect of the invention comprises a pump housing, which is constituted of as few as two structural bodies (from among a drive-side housing member 2A, a fixed cylinder 81 and a cover 4), and a leaf valve member 82 which is formed with intake valves 87 for opening and closing intake side passages 27 and discharge valves 88 for opening and closing discharge side passages 28 and is sandwiched between two structural bodies (fixed cylinder 81 and cover 4). The first aspect of the invention reduces the number of components constituting the pump housing, enables highly precise overall axial alignment, prevents wobbling of a pump shaft 9 of the pump, increases performance and reliability and reduces cost. A radial piston pump for low-viscosity fuel according to a second aspect of the invention comprises a leaf valve member 205 formed in one and the same plane thereof with overflow ports communicating with an overflow passage 59 in the pump housing, intake valves 87 communicating with intake side passages 27 and discharge valves 88 communicating with discharge side passages 28. The third aspect of the invention provides a method for assembling the radial piston pump for low-viscosity fuel according to the second aspect of the invention.

Radial piston pump for low-viscosity fuel

A fuel pump for a high-pressure fuel injection system is constituted by integrating into a single pump unit 15 a high-pressure fuel pump 4 for supplying high-pressure fuel to injectors 8 for injecting high-pressure fuel into cylinders of an engine 16 and a solenoid valve unit 6 for controlling the fuel pressure of the high-pressure fuel pump 4, and the pump unit 15 is adapted for mounting on the engine. The configuration decreases required installation space, enables use of a common heat installation system and reduces the number of installation steps.

A fuel pump for a high-pressure fuel injection system includes a high-pressure fuel pump 4 for supplying high-pressure fuel to injectors 8 for injecting high-pressure fuel into cylinders of an engine, a pressure control valve 10 for controlling the fuel pressure of the high-pressure fuel pump 4, a high-pressure fuel supply pipe 16 connecting the high-pressure fuel pump 4 and the injectors 8, a high-pressure fuel control pipe 17 connecting the injectors 8 and the pressure control valve 10, and a pump-control valve communication passage 18 formed to communicate the high-pressure fuel pump 4 with the pressure control valve 10 and bypass the injectors 8, the sectional area of the pump-control valve communication passage 18 being smaller than those of the high-pressure fuel supply pipe 16 and the high-pressure fuel control pipe 17. Owing to the provision of the pump-control valve communication passage 18, the high-pressure fuel pump of the fuel pump for a high-pressure fuel injection system can secure a pressure relief function without separate installation a relief valve.

A solenoid valve unit for a fuel injection apparatus suppresses fuel vaporization when the engine is being started or restarted when hot and enhances the reliability of engine operation by providing a stable fuel delivery during engine startup.

An acceleration sensor includes a tubular bobbin only one end of which is fixed to a body whereas the other end is movable relative to the body axially of the bobbin. Supported on the body are magnets for attracting a magnetic member, mounted within the bobbin, to a reference position. A detection member is mounted around the bobbin so as to detect a displacement of the magnetic member from the reference position. A gel can be filled in a receiving space of the body in which the bobbin is received. The body can be of a tubular shape, with covers fixedly secured respectively to opposite ends of the body, in which case opposite ends of the bobbin are disposed in opposed, spaced relation to inner sides of the covers, respectively. The body can be received in a housing, and a circuit board can be received in an auxiliary receiving space in the housing. An acceleration sensing system incorporating such a sensor includes a processing circuit for processing an output of the detection member to output a detection signal representative of the direction and magnitude of the acceleration. The processing circuit has a temperature compensation circuit for compensating for a temperature variation so as to keep the detection signal at a constant level when the acceleration is zero.

In an electromagnetic actuator for moving an object, a plurality of electromagnetic circuits is provided to produce a moving magnetic field in a substrate. There is disposed a flexible resilient plate wholly or partially made of a magnetic material. When the electromagnetic circuits impart a magnetic force to the magnetic material to produce a traveling wave in the flexible resilient plate. Also, a magnetic fluid may be disposed on the substrate and the flexible resilient plate be disposed in close contact with the surface of the magnetic fluid.

Electromagnetic actuator for moving an object

An acceleration sensor includes a body supporting a casing within which a magnetic member is received. A plurality of magnets are mounted on the body and disposed around the casing. The magnetic forces of the magnets hold the magnetic member in a reference position within the casing. The magnetic member is displaceable from the reference position against the magnetic forces of the magnets when the acceleration sensor is subjected to acceleration. A detection device is mounted externally of the casing so as to detect displacement of the magnetic member from the reference position. The acceleration sensor further includes a position adjusting device for adjusting the position of at least one of the magnets relative to the casing so as to set the intensities of the magnetic fields of the magnets in predetermined relation within the casing.

Acceleration sensor

Herein disclosed a disc type electromagnetic valve which is disposed in the passage of a fluid represented by pressurized gases or air for controlling the flow of the fluid. In a casing at the back of a stator, there is formed a chamber in which a diaphragm is arranged. This diaphragm has its radially inner side connected to either a movable receiver of a spring for biasing an armature apart from the attracting surface of the stator or the armature. The chamber at the back of the diaphragm is caused to communicate with a communication passage of the pressurized fluid through a passage hole which extends through the armature and a valve member. When the pressure of the fluid exerted upon the valve member fluctuates, the diaphragm is moved to automatically adjust the seating force of the valve member against a valve seat.

Pressure-balanced electromagnetic valve

An acceleration sensor comprises a case having defined therein at least one accommodating chamber. At least one magnetic ball is accommodated in the accommodating chamber with a radial play left between the wall surface of the accommodating chamber and the magnetic ball. The magnetic ball is magnetically attracted to a reference position in the accommodating chamber by a magnetic field generating unit. In response to acceleration, deceleration or inclination, the magnetic ball is movable in the accommodating chamber against the attracting force of the magnetic field generating unit. The movement of the magnetic ball is detected by a detector.

A method for producing an electromagnetic actuator which includes a pair of member which are opposite to each other on the flat faces thereof for relative movement, a plurality of grooves formed concentrically in the flat face of one of said members opposite to the other for receiving a plurality of endless coils, and a plurality of endless coils received in said plurality of grooves, and further includes a communication hole formed in one of said pair of member to make communication between said grooves and having an inlet port for resin pouring, and resin integrally poured in between said plurality of coils and said plurality of grooves and in said communication hole, wherein; (a) a method having a projection is placed on the upper portion of said coil-receiving grooves, when resin is poured form said inlet port, and (b) the projection of said mold is engaged with said plurality of coils to keep them in place.

Electromagnetic actuators and method for producing the same

A high speed electromagnetic valve is disclosed in which an electromagnetic actuator is provided in which an armature is moved relative to a stator having excitation coils, and a valve rod fixed to the armature and a holding means capable of holding the armature and the valve rod according to electric current. This holding means is formed in such way that a plurality of piezoelectric elements are sandwiched in a plurality of electrode plates, and holding power by the piezoelectric operation is generated to hold the armature and the valve rod.
