Silver halide light-sensitive photographic material for radiographic use

A photosensitive silver halide emulsion comprising photosensitive silver halide grains which essentially consists of monodisperse globular-shaped grains. The grains may be prepared by adding a silver halide solvent to a silver halide emulsion containing monodisperse silver halide grains of regular crystal habit at a time between the complete formation of the monodisperse silver halide grains of regular crystal habit and before commencement of chemical sensitization.

Photosensitive silver halide emulsion

There is disclosed a method for preparing a silver halide photographic emulsion by use of an ammoniacal silver nitrate solution in a double-jet manner, characterized in that the method comprises the step of maintaining the ratio between the maximum and minimum solubility of the silver halide in a silver halide photographic emulsion at 3 or less after 1/10 of the total amount of the solution containing silver halide has been used. The method according to the present invention provides a monodispersed silver halide photographic emulsion which has a high sensitivity, i.e., which comprises silver halide having a relatively large crystal size.

Method for preparing silver halide photographic emulsion

There is disclosed a light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material, comprising a group of silver halide emulsion layers constituting the same color sensitive layer, said group of emulsion layers consisting of at least two silver halide emulsion layers with different light sensitivities, the layer with the highest sensitivity incorporating at least one kind of a compound having a non-diffusion type coupler component and a scavenger component for an oxidized product of a color forming developing agent in an amount of 1 to 5 mole % per mole of the silver halide in the layer containing said compound. The light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material according to the present invention has high sensitivity and can provide high image quality with a broad latitude.

Light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material

A silver halide photographic material comprising a base having formed thereon a silver halide emulsion layer substantially made of two or more monodisperse emulsions having different average grain sizes in the range of from 0.2 to 3.0 .mu.m is disclosed. The grain size distribution curve of the silver halide grains in said emulsion layer has two or more peaks, and the distance between the highest peak and the second highest peak is at least 0.3 .mu.m.

Silver halide photographic material

A light-sensitive silver halide emulsion is disclosed, which comprises cores composed of silver halide grains and shells covering the cores. The cores consist essentially of silver halide containing silver iodide, and the shells consist essentially of silver bromide, silver chloride or silver chlorobromide excluding silver iodide. The shells have a thickness of from 0.01 to 0.1.mu.. This light-sensitive silver halide emulsion has high sensitivity and superior covering power.

Silver halide photographic emulsion

A photographic emulsion containing composite crystals of (a) silver halide and (b) copper halide or a solid solution crystal of copper halide and silver halide is found to be sufficiently photosensitive and developable. In such a photographic emulsion, the amount of silver used can significantly be decreased.

Photographic silver halide emulsion comprising epitaxial composite

A photographic material having a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a mixture of monomethinecyanine dyes is disclosed. The mixture is particularly suitable for minimizing fog in the finished product.
