An optically transparent conductive material including an optically transparent support, sensor parts electrically connected to a terminal area via peripheral wiring parts, and dummy parts not electrically connected to the terminal areas, the sensor parts and the dummy parts being disposed on the optically transparent support, wherein the sensor parts and the dummy parts each have a metal thin wire net-like pattern formed by an assembly of multiple polygons, the metal thin wire pattern of each dummy part includes disconnection parts, and the metal thin wire pattern of each dummy part also includes a region satisfying the following requirement (1) and/or a region satisfying the following requirement (2): (1) each polygon sharing one or more vertices with a polygon having no disconnection part includes at least one disconnection part; and (2) each polygon sharing one or more vertices with at least one of two polygons sharing a side or a vertex and having no disconnection part includes at least one disconnection part.

Light-transmitting conductive material

Provided is an optically transparent conductive material which does not cause moire even when placed over a liquid crystal display, and has a favorable optical transparency and a high reliability. The optically transparent conductive material has, on an optically transparent support, an optically transparent conductive layer having a sensor part electrically connected to a terminal part and a dummy part not electrically connected to the terminal part, and the sensor part and/or the dummy part is formed of a metal pattern having a mesh shape obtained by enlarging or reducing a Voronoi diagram in an arbitrary direction.

Optically transparent conductive material

A pattern formation method produces a random metal pattern that does not cause moire even when placed over a liquid crystal display and achieves improved detection sensitivity due to compressed variation in electrical properties among sensors. The method forms a patterned optically transparent and electrically conductive assembly having an optically transparent and electrically conductive layer on an optically transparent support. The conductive layer has sensor parts electrically connected to terminal parts and dummy parts not electrically connected to terminal parts, with the sensor and dummy parts having a metal mesh pattern. The metal mesh pattern has a mesh shape formed of a Voronoi diagram generated from a plurality of generators disposed on a plane, at least some of the generators in the dummy parts being present in an enlarged polygons that share the gravity center with polygons used in the tiling of the plane and/or at least some of the generators in the sensor parts being present in reduced polygons that share the gravity center with polygons used in the tiling of the plane. By these features, at least some of the polygons of the generators in the dummy parts are larger than at least some of the polygons of the generators in the sensor parts.

Pattern formation method

Provided is an optically transparent conductive material which has low visibility and reduced occurrence of short circuit and therefore is suitable as an optically transparent electrode for projected capacitive touchscreens. The optically transparent conductive material has, on a base material, a sensor part composed of a metal pattern electrically connected to a terminal part and a dummy part composed of a metal pattern not electrically connected to the terminal part. When a line dividing the sensor part and the dummy part is referred to as an imaginary boundary line, the metal pattern of the sensor part and/or the metal pattern of the dummy part is displaced along the imaginary boundary line.

Provided is an optically transparent conductive material which is suitable as an optically transparent electrode for capacitive touchscreens, the optically transparent conductive material not causing moire even when placed over a liquid crystal display, having a favorably low pattern conspicuousness (non-conspicuousness), and having a high reliability. The optically transparent conductive material has, on an optically transparent support, an optically transparent conductive layer having optically transparent sensor parts electrically connected to terminal parts and optically transparent dummy parts not electrically connected to terminal parts, and in this optically transparent conductive material, the sensor parts and the dummy parts are formed of a metal thin line pattern having a mesh shape, and in the plane of the optically transparent conductive layer, the contour shape of each of the sensor parts extends in a first direction, the dummy parts are arranged alternately with the sensor parts in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, the sensor parts are arranged at a cycle of L in the second direction, at least part of the metal thin line pattern in the sensor parts has a cycle of 2L/N in the second direction (wherein N is any natural number), and the metal thin line pattern in the dummy parts has a cycle longer than 2L/N or does not have a cycle in the second direction.

Provided is an optically transparent electrode of which the visibility of the electrode pattern is low. The optically transparent electrode is produced by joining two optically transparent conductive materials each having, on one side of the optically transparent base material, a large latticeformed of a grid-like conductive part and a connectorwhich has at least one connector latticeand which electrically connects adjacent large lattices, and is characterized by that the two optically transparent conductive materials are overlapped so that the centers of the connectorsthereof approximately coincide, and by that at least one of the two optically transparent conductive materials has a broken latticewhere a part of a thin line is broken and electrical conductivity is lost at a position corresponding to the overlapped connectorsand/or to a portion surrounded by the large latticeand the connector

Optically transparent electrode

A technical object of the present invention is to provide an optically transparent electrode which has a high total light transmittance, hardly produces moire, and has an excellent stability of electrical resistance values, and to achieve the object, provided is an optically transparent electrode having, on an optically transparent base material, optically transparent conductive layers having a sensor part electrically connected to a terminal part and a dummy part not electrically connected to the terminal part, the sensor part and the dummy part each having a repetition unit metal pattern of a predetermined shape, the sensor part of one of the optically transparent conductive layers being formed of a plurality of column electrodes extending in a first direction, the column electrodes and the dummy parts being arranged in an alternating manner, the sensor part of the other optically transparent conductive layer being formed of a plurality of column electrodes which extend in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and are arranged alternately with the dummy parts.

The present invention provides an optically transparent electrode being resistant to corrosion regardless of the shape of the pattern and enabling uniform electroless plating thereon regardless of the shape of the pattern. The optically transparent electrode has, on a support, an optically transparent electrode unit and a peripheral wire unit formed of at least one peripheral wire, of which one end is electrically connected with the optically transparent electrode unit and the other end is connected with the outside, and the optically transparent electrode unit and the peripheral wire unit are formed of the same metal. The line width of at least one metal wire forming the peripheral wire unit is not uniform, and when the at least one metal wire is divided into a thinnest metal wire segment A and the other metal wire segment B electrically connected with the metal wire segment A, the line width of the metal wire segment A is 1.2 to 20 times the line width of the metal wires forming the optically transparent electrode unit, the line width of the metal wire segment B is 1.5 to 3 times the line width of the metal wire segment A, and the number of peripheral wires where the total length of the metal wire segment A of a single peripheral wire is 0.01 to 40 times the total length of the metal wire segment B of the same wire accounts for 40% or more of the total number of wires in the peripheral wire unit.

It is to provide a process for preparing a conductive material in which transparency and conductivity are both high, and storage stability is high, and further, in a process for preparing a conductive material utilizing ultra fine silver particles, to provide a process for preparing a conductive material having high conductivity without requiring a calcination step which has conventionally been required. A process for preparing a conductive material having a conductive pattern containing silver on a support, which process for preparing a conductive material comprises acting at least one of the following mentioned (I) to (IV) on the pattern portion containing silver provided on the support: (I) a reducing substance, (II) a water-soluble phosphorus oxo acid compound, (III) a water-soluble halogen compound, (IV) warm water of 55&#xb0; C. or higher.

Process for preparing conductive material

There is disclosed a process for making a lithographic printing plate which comprises subjecting a lithographic printing plate precursor having a silver thin film on a grained and anodized aluminum base to exposure by a heat-mode laser beam whereby removing the silver thin film, wherein the aluminum base has a surface activity which can form physical development silver in an amount of 0.5 g/m.sup.2 or more when the base is processed by using the following Physical development solution 1 at 23.degree. C. for 30 minutes: Physical development solution 1 wherein 1 part by volume of Solution B is added to 5 parts by volume of Solution A;

Process for making lithographic printing plate

The present invention provides a lithographic printing plate material which comprises a grained and anodized aluminum support and a silver halide emulsion layer between which physical development nuclei are provided wherein said aluminum support have 500 or more pits having a diameter of 0.03-0.30 .mu.m and an average diameter of 0.05-0.20 .mu.m per 100 .mu.m.sup.2.
