A door for an automotive vehicle includes a bracket that is mounted to an upper portion of a door panel and projects upwards from the door panel, a key cylinder for locking or unlocking the door where a key insert hole of the key cylinder is mounted to the bracket and is directed towards the outside of the automotive vehicle body, a door handle base that is mounted to the bracket so that it covers the key cylinder from the outside of the automotive vehicle body such that the door handle base has an aperture positioned opposite from the key insert hole of the key cylinder, and a door handle for opening or closing the door that is mounted to the door handle base.

Structure of a door for an automotive vehicle

A body for an automotive vehicle is structured by a roof having roof openings, each extending over an entire length continuously to a side opening disposed at the side of the body. A lower portion of the side opening is closed or opened with a side door with no sash mounted thereto. On the other hand, the upper portion of the side opening and the roof opening are closed or opened with a window panel supported with the roof so as to pivot downwards and upwards.

Structure of a body of an automotive vehicle

This invention relates to a side door structure for a vehicle, consisting of front and rear doors. The side door structure includes a front impact bar disposed in the front door, and extending in the back-and-forth direction of a vehicle body, and a rear impact bar which is disposed in the rear door to be inclined obliquely upward toward the rear portion of the vehicle body, and can be in contact with a rear portion of the front impact bar while being offset vertically when the rear door is moved forward.

Side door apparatus for vehicle

A door body is formed of outer and inner panels, and a door windowpane is supported by the door body. The door windowpane includes a stationary windowpane which is fixed to the door body and a movable windowpane which is movable up and down relative to the stationary windowpane to close and open an opening defined by the stationary windowpane. The upper edge portion of the outer panel supports the door windowpane from the inside at the part opposed to the stationary windowpane and from the outside at the part opposed to the movable windowpane. The part of the upper edge portion opposed to the stationary windowpane is connected to the inner panel to form a closed cross-section, and the part of the upper edge portion opposed to the movable windowpane is connected to a reinforcement to form a closed cross-section.

Structure of vehicle door

A back door structure for a motor vehicle in which a back door is hingedly mounted on a vehicle roof for movement between an open and closed position. The back door is of trapezium configuration, with its lower portion wider than its upper portion. A stay damper is connected with the back door at one end and connected with a rear pillar at the other end. The stay damper biases the back door to a raised open position and is disposed between the rear pillar and the back door when closed. The stay damper moves outwardly in accordance with the opening of the back door. The back door includes a frame member disposed along the side peripheral edges of the back door window glass. A conceal member is connected with the frame member and extends outwardly, forming the rear corners of the vehicle body and concealing both the stay damper and the rear pillar. The conceal member constitutes a portion of the outer surface of the vehicle body. The side margins of the window glass are extended to the outside of the back door frame member so the car design becomes more flexible. Moreover, the rear pillar is covered by the conceal member, and the vehicle appearance is greatly improved.

Back door structure for a motor vehicle

A vehicle door structure comprises an inner panel on which functional parts are to be mounted, and an outer panel having a central opening. The inner panel and the outer panel are lap-bonded together at the front edge, the bottom edge and the rear edge. The portion of the outer panel surrounding the central opening is bonded to the inner panel. Front and rear edge portions of the door body are formed of closed cross-section portions. The outer side of the outer panel is covered with an outer plate of synthetic resin.

Vehicle door structure

A rear side door structure for four-door type automobiles including a rear door panel having an upper hem which defines a lower edge of a window opening, a guide member extending upwardly from the upper hem of the door panel to divide the window opening into a front opening portion and rear opening portion, a front glass panel fitted to the front opening portion, a rear glass panel disposed in the rear opening portion for movement along the guide member. The guide member is inclined rearwardly so that the rear glass panel is shifted forwardly when it is moved downwardly. According to this arrangement, the rear glass panel can be retracted into the door panel without any interference with the cut-off portion which is normally provided in the door panel at the rear lower portion for avoiding the rear tire house.

Rear side door structure for four-door type automobiles

A rear side door structure for a four-door type automobile including a door panel having an upper hem for defining a lower edge of a window opening, a guide member extending upwardly from the upper hem of the door panel to divide the window opening into a front and rear opening portions, a front and rear glass panels respectively provided in the opening portions. One of the glass panels is fixed to the door panel and the other is movable along the guide member. A cover panel is integrally formed with the door panel to cover the guide member.
