In this connecting structure for auxiliary machinery and cable is a connecting structure, a plurality of conductors are surrounded by an insulating covering and arrayed in a flat configuration and an auxiliary machinery that attaches directly to this cable; and characterized in that the auxiliary machinery is provided with a housing being equipped with a board on which electronic components are mounted and to which a specific circuitry pattern has been formed, a connection terminal that is connected to the circuitry pattern on the board and to at least one conductor among the conductors of the cable, and a molded part for sealing the connections between the connection terminal of the housing and the conductors of the cable; and the cable is disposed so as to extend along the outside of the auxiliary machinery.

Among each of the conductorstothat form the flat cableof the flat harness, at the installation part of the relay connector, conductorsand, conductorsand, and conductorsandare respectively cut and separated, and then connected to the relay connection terminal. Thereby, the number of conductorsthat form the flat cableis decreased to a minimum, and thus it is possible to decrease the unnecessary amount of material. In addition, in the manufacturing steps, the crimping step of the flat cableto the relay connector, the cutting step, and the molding step are carried out in one step, and thus the number of manufacturing steps can be decreased.

Method for manufacturing a flat cable harness

A power supply apparatus for a vehicular sliding door is provided, including a power supply line electrically coupled to a power supply; a power supply line protector including a rectangular-shaped case and disposed in the vehicular sliding door, in which the power supply line is housed in a bent state; a power supply line path in the case which controls the bent line; a slider received in, and slidable along, a length of the case; an extension spring by which the slider is urged toward one end side of the case; and a slit-shaped opening in an underside of the case; wherein a side portion of the line is drawn out through the slit-shaped opening and secured to a vehicle body side; and wherein a power supply line portion, which has been drawn out from another end side of the case, is connected to appliances inside the door.

Power supply apparatus for sliding door

A power supply device for realizing an electrical connection structure includes a wire harness arranged to electrically connect a body with a sliding door and having both ends fixed thereto and a bendable middle portion. A slider is arranged to contact the middle portion of the wire harness and move in synchronization with slide movement to guide the wire harness in a parallel direction. A box-shaped protector having a housing space to house the slider together with the middle portion of the wire harness therein is disposed on the sliding door. The slider is actuated toward the side to which a bent portion protrudes.

Flat harness with a cut conductor, and manufacturing method thereof

A connector coupling structure includes first and second connectors including housings. A raised portion is formed at a front end side of an inner surface of the second connector housing. When the first and second connectors are coupled, the raised portion contacts an outer surface of the first connector housing, forming a clearance between the outer surface of the first connector housing and an inner surface portion of the second connector housing. An inner case is slidably received in one of the connector housings. A projecting portion is formed on a side of the inner case and a notching piece having a pawl is formed on the one connector housing to be releasably engageable with the projecting portion. When the terminals and terminal-inserting holes of the two connectors are connected with one another, the inner case slides so that the engagement of the pawl and the projecting portion is released.

A passive method is provided as alignment means for aligning an optical fiber with an optical element in assembling an optical module, while increasing alignment accuracy. A mount () equipped with an optical element () is positioned by abutment on a face () of a projection () formed inside a package () and on a side () of a positioning pad () projecting from the bottom () of the package. A mount () equipped with an optical element () is positioned by abutment on an inner wall () of the package and on a face () of a projection () formed inside the package. Since the optical power of received or emitted light need not be monitored for fine adjustments of alignment, this method is less expensive.

Optical module, optical element attachment method, and receptacle-fitted optical module

An optical connector for connecting a plug unit for holding the end face of an optical fiber with an inward retraction from the leading end portion and a receptacle unit having packaged therein a light receiving/emitting element to transfer an optical signal with the optical fiber, to each other through a clearance between the end face of the optical fiber and the light receiving/emitting element. The optical connector includes a lens disposed in at least one of the position which is retracted inward from the leading end portion of the plug unit and the position which is retracted inward from the end face of the receptacle unit on the plug unit side, for condensing the optical signal, as emitted from one of the optical fiber and the light receiving/emitting element, to the other.
