A hole plug attachment structure includes: a first attachment-target member is formed with a first attachment hole; a second attachment-target member is formed with a second attachment hole; and a hole plug that includes a tube-shaped outer peripheral wall, a blocking portion, a ring shaped flange jutting out toward a radial direction outer side of the outer peripheral wall from an end portion of the outer peripheral wall on an opposite side from an insertion direction so as to cover a location surrounding the second attachment hole, and a hook portion, a location of the flange that abuts an edge of the second attachment hole being thicker than a location of the flange that abuts the edge of the first attachment hole, in a state in which a back face of the flange abuts both the edge of the first attachment hole and the edge of the second attachment hole.

Hole plug attachment structure

A hole plug includes: a tube-shaped outer peripheral wall configured to be inserted into an attachment hole formed in an attachment-target member; a blocking portion-close off the inside of the outer peripheral wall; a ring-shaped flange that juts out toward a radial direction outer side of the outer peripheral wall from an end portion of the outer peripheral wall on an opposite side from an insertion direction so as to cover a location surrounding the attachment hole; a hook portion engage with an edge of the attachment hole; and a plurality of recess portions that are formed at a front face of a base end portion of the flange at intervals around a circumferential direction of the flange, each of the recess portions including a bottom portion with a planar face profile or a curved face profile.

Hole plug

A hole plug includes: a tubular outer periphery wall portion for insertion into a burring hole formed in an attachment member; an annular flange portion that protrudes toward a radial direction outer side of the outer periphery wall portion, from an end portion side of the outer periphery wall portion at an opposite side from an insertion direction side of the outer periphery wall portion; a pawl portion that projects toward the radial direction outer side from the outer periphery wall portion; a closure portion that extends between inner sides of the outer periphery wall portion; and an abutting portion provided at at least one of the flange portion or the outer periphery wall portion, the abutting portion overlapping with a periphery edge portion of the burring hole as seen in the insertion direction, and the abutting portion configured to abut the periphery edge portion.

A hole plug includes a ceiling part covering an attachment hole formed in an attachment member, a flange part connected to the ceiling part and covering an opening peripheral surface of the attachment hole formed in the attachment member at a predetermined inclined angle against the opening peripheral surface, a cylindrical outer peripheral wall part extending downward from an inner edge part of the flange part, and a connection member connecting the lower part of the outer peripheral wall part to the ceiling part. The outer peripheral wall part includes an upper part extending downward from the inner edge part of the flange part, a lower part formed coaxially with and radially inward to the upper part, and a bent part connecting the upper and lower parts of the outer peripheral wall part and having a thickness less than that of the upper part located above the bent part.

A cover anchor clip includes a base section having a plate shape extending in one direction, that is formed with through holes into which a foam body enters, and that is configured to be retained in the foam body; and an anchor portion including a pair of extension portions that extend upward from a surface of the base section and that are disposed facing each other, and a pair of anchor claws that are formed at respective leading ends of the pair of extension portions, and that is configured to anchor an anchored member attached to a cover for covering the foam body by sandwiching the anchored member therebetween. The through holes formed at the base section are aligned in the one direction, and plural hole-rows formed by the through holes aligned in the one direction are disposed separated by a spacing in an intersection direction intersecting the one direction. A gate mark that indicates an injection port for resin material during molding is formed at the back face of the base section between adjacent hole-rows. A plate thickness changing portion at which a thickness of the base section changes is formed between the gate mark and the through holes, as viewed from a back face of the base section along a plate thickness direction of the base section.

Cover anchor clip

A hole plug which includes a flange part which covers an opening peripheral surface of an attachment hole formed on an attachment member at a predetermined inclined angle against the opening peripheral surface and a cylindrical outer peripheral wall part formed to extend downward from an inner edge part of the flange part. A flange part associating bending part is formed as a base point in order for bending an upper part of an outer peripheral wall part of the hole plug from a predetermined position of the outer peripheral wall part in a direction away from a hole edge when a tip of a flange part is contacted with an opening peripheral surface of the attachment member. Thus, the hole plug can reduce an insertion load, corresponding to variation of a plate thickness, and maintain a water sealing property.

A cover anchor clip comprising a base section that is a rectangular shaped plate body for retention in a foam body, and that is formed with a plurality of through holes into which the foam body enters, the plurality of through holes are lined up along a length direction of the base section in a plurality of rows; and a plurality of anchor portions that are formed standing out from the base section side-by-side in the length direction of the base section, and each of that is configured to anchor an anchored portion fixed to a cover for covering the foam body, wherein a notch is formed to one edge out of a pair of edges of the base section, the pair of edges extends in the length direction of the base section.

A cover anchor clip comprising a base section; an anchor portion including a pair of extension portions that stands up from the base section so as to face each other, a pair of anchor claws that is formed at respective leading ends of the pair of extension portions and that projects out toward sides where the extension portions mutually face each other, and a protrusion that is formed at each leading end of the extension portions and that projects out to the opposite side to the mutually facing sides of the extension portions; and upstanding portions standing up from the base section, each of the upstanding portions can make contact with either one of the protrusions in the event that either one of the extension portions is elastically deformed and the pair of anchor claws move away from each other.

In a case wherein a force acts upward from below on a face plate () of a hole plug () that is closing an attachment hole () of a body panel (), the face plate () is pushed up, and an intermediate wall portion () moves upward relative to an outer circumferential wall portion (). At that time, an outside portion (B) of an abutment portion () is folded inward, and an inside portion (A) of the abutment portion () abuts against an inside face of a lower portion of the outer circumferential wall portion (). As a result, the inside portion (A) of the abutment portion () can control engagement claws () from deforming inward.

A method for measuring the head-disk clearance between a slider and a disk includes measuring a first resistance with a first bias applied to an embedded contact sensor of the slider, measuring a second resistance with a second bias applied to the embedded contact sensor of the slider, and determining the head-disk clearance based at least in part on a difference between the first resistance and the second resistance. A system includes a disk drive, a slider comprising an embedded contact sensor, and circuitry to apply at least two bias voltages to the embedded contact sensor, measure at least two resistances of the embedded contact sensor based on the application of the at least two bias voltages, and to determine the head-disk clearance based at least in part on a difference between the at least two resistances.

Systems and methods for clearance monitoring in storage media

A clip includes a grommet and a pin. The grommet includes a flange part; a leg part extending in cylindrical form from a lower face of the flange part; an insertion hole running through the leg part from the flange part and allowing insertion of the pin; and slits dividing the leg part into a plurality of divided pieces capable of expanding. The pin includes a head part having a larger outer diameter than the insertion hole; and a shaft part extending from a lower face of the head part, for expanding the divided pieces by being inserted into the insertion hole. The shaft part is provided with a provisional fastening part projecting to curve outwardly in a radial direction on a tip part thereof, for elastically contacting with an inner edge part on an upper face of the opening of the insertion hole.

Two-piece clip

A hole plug has a head portion, a leg portion protruding from the head portion, and a flange portion protruding on an upper circumference of the leg portion. The leg portion includes an inner wall having an approximately cylindrical shape and connected to the head portion; and an outer wall extending along the inner wall with a gap among the inner wall from a folded portion provided in an end portion of the inner wall, and forming a bendable thin-walled portion. The thin-walled portion is elastically bent by an external force to be capable of transitioning from a first usage aspect in which the outer wall is locked in the hole with the thin-walled portion being in a non-bending state to a second usage aspect in which a force larger than the first usage aspect is provided to pressure contact relative to the hole.
