An accelerator device includes a pad, a case portion having a front wall with an opening, a rear wall, a first side wall and a second side wall, an internal movable mechanism with a shaft, and an arm. The first side wall has a first bearing portion for receiving one end of the shaft, and at least one first groove portion provided vertically below a central axis of a surface facing the shaft of the first bearing portion and connected to the first bearing portion. The second side wall has a second bearing portion for receiving the other end of the shaft, and at least one second groove portion provided vertically below a central axis of a surface facing the shaft of the second bearing portion and connected to the second bearing portion.

Accelerator device

An accelerator device includes a case provided on a floor, a pad arranged outside the case to be stepped on by a driver, a pedal arranged in the case to be rotatable in an accelerator opening direction by a stepping force of the pad, an arm connecting the pad to the pedal, and a biasing member configured to bias the pedal in an accelerator closing direction. One end of the arm is press-fitted into a connecting portion of the pad in a press-fitting direction. At least one of the arm or the pad is provided with a play removing part that is configured to eliminate a play between the one end of the arm and the connecting portion in the press-fitting direction by contacting the one end of the arm and the connecting portion.

An accelerator device includes a pedal lever, a reaction force adjuster and a controller. The pedal lever operates according to a stepping operation. The reaction force adjuster is driven by an actuator, and is capable of adjusting a reaction force that is a force in a direction of pushing back the pedal lever. The controller includes a target operation amount setting unit and a drive control unit. The target operation amount setting unit sets a target operation amount, which is an operation amount of the pedal lever according to a vehicle speed. The drive control unit controls a drive of the actuator. The controller controls the reaction force according to the target operation amount so that the operation amount of the pedal lever is within a target range when switching from an automatic drive to a manual drive.

A pedal device comprises a brake pedal, an accelerator pedal, a support member and an adjusting device. The brake pedal is operated to be depressed by a leg of a passenger, and an operation amount of a depressing operation of the brake pedal is transmitted as an electrical signal. The accelerator pedal is operated to be depressed by a leg of the passenger, and an operation amount of a depressing operation of the accelerator pedal is transmitted as an electrical signal. The support member is connected with the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal, respectively, to support the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal in a rotatable manner. The adjusting device adjusts a position or a posture of the pedal unit including the brake pedal, the accelerator pedal, and the support member.

Pedal device

A joined body includes: a first member having a hole; and a second member that is press-fitted to the hole. The second member has a second abutment surface abutting against a first abutment surface which is an inner wall of the first member forming the hole. A groove portion is defined on one of an inner wall of the first member and an outer wall of the second member, and has a groove formed to extend in a press-fitting direction of the second member to the first member. An insertion portion is formed to protrude in a radial direction from the other of the inner wall of the first member and the outer wall of the second member, and is inserted in the groove. The groove portion has an engagement portion that is able to be engaged with an end portion of the insertion portion in the press-fitting direction.

Joined body and accelerator device using the joined body

A pedal device includes a base disposed on an inner wall surface of a vehicle body, a pedal pad movable relative to the base, and a pad fixation portion configured to fix the pedal pad to be immovable relative to the base.

An accelerator device includes: a support portion that is installable to a vehicle body; a shaft that is rotatably supported by the support portion; an operable portion that is rotatable integrally with the shaft and is depressible by a driver; an installation blocking portion that is formed in the support portion; and a full opening stopper that limits rotation of the operable portion in an accelerator opening direction when the full opening stopper contacts the operable portion. The installation blocking portion includes a space that opens toward the operable portion. A rib is formed in the space and joins between a top side inner wall and a bottom side inner wall of the space.

Accelerator device and die device for accelerator device

In a fastening structure and an accelerator pedal device using the fastening structure, a screw is inserted into a screw insertion hole of a cover from a side of the cover facing away from a housing, and the screw is screwed into a screwing hole of a fastening portion of the housing. An annular space is provided between an edge of the screw insertion hole and the fastening portion.

An acceleration device includes: a support portion that has a communication passage, which communicates between a receiving space and an outside; a shaft that is rotatably supported by the support portion; a pedal boss portion that is located on a radially outer side of the shaft and is rotatable integrally with the shaft in the communication passage; a rotational angle sensor that is operable to sense a rotational angle of the shaft relative to the support portion; a pedal spring that urges rotation of the shaft in an accelerator closing direction; and a projection that is formed in a communication passage inner wall, which is an inner wall of the communication passage and is opposed to a boss portion outer wall of the pedal boss portion. The projection projects from the communication passage inner wall in a radially inward direction.

Acceleration device

A pedal-side rotating member is composed of a boss portion rotatably supported by a pedal shaft, a spring holding portion for holding one end of a return spring, a stopper arm being operatively in contact with an inner wall surface of a supporting body, and a mechanically-weaker portion, wherein the boss portion, the spring holding portion, the stopper arm and the mechanically-weaker portion are integrally formed as one unit. The spring holding portion is so configured as to be broken away from the boss portion at the mechanically-weaker portion, if an acting force larger than a predetermined value is applied to the stopper arm when the rotating member is rotated in a direction to an acceleration fully-closed position. A broken piece is held at a position inside of the supporting body, so that rotation of the boss portion is not adversely affected by the broken piece.

Acceleration device for vehicle

A support member includes a base projection. A cover includes a press-fitting portion and a cover projection. The press-fitting portion is press-fitted to a press-fitting hole of the support member. The cover projection is placed at a location, which is spaced from the base projection in a state where the press-fitting portion is press-fitted. At time of disassembling between the support member and the cover by sliding the cover in a releasing direction, the base projection and the cover projection contact with each other to form a disassembly indication mark, which indicates the disassembling between the cover and the support member, on at least one of the base projection and the cover projection.

Tamper-proof molded article and accelerator apparatus having the same

At a supporting member, an angle between an imaginary extension plane of an outer surface of a first partition wall and an imaginary extension plane of an upper surface of a pedal arm is one of an obtuse angle and a right angle. An angle between an imaginary extension plane of an outer surface of a third partition wall and an imaginary extension plane of a lower surface of the pedal arm is one of an obtuse angle and a right angle.

Accelerator apparatus for vehicle

A pedal spring urges a pedal spring receiving portion to rotate a manipulation member in an accelerator closing direction. The pedal spring has an end portion that contacts a first contact surface of a front segment. A hysteresis spring urges a hysteresis spring receiving portion, which is engaged with the manipulation member, in the accelerator closing direction. The hysteresis spring has an end portion that contacts a second contact surface of the front segment. A step surface is formed between the first contact surface and the second contact surface to limit movement of the end portion of the hysteresis spring.

Accelerator apparatus

Each of a cross sectional shape of a contacting portion of a stopper arm and a cross sectional shape of an outer peripheral surface of a pedal shaft is formed in a circular shape, wherein a curvature radius is equal to each other. Each of a cross sectional shape of a stopper surface of a supporting body and a cross sectional shape of an inner peripheral surface of a bearing portion is formed in a circular shape, wherein a curvature radius is equal to each other. A distance between a center of a first virtual circle formed by the contacting portion and a center axis of the pedal shaft is made to be equal to a distance between a center of a second virtual circle formed by the stopper surface and a center axis of the bearing portion. An angle of the stopper arm with respect to the supporting body is not changed, even when the center axis of the pedal shaft is displaced with respect to center axis of the bearing portion.

An accelerator pedal is urged in an accelerator closing direction by a hysteresis spring and a return spring. A first increase rate is obtained by dividing an urging force of the hysteresis spring exerted in an accelerator-full-opening position of the accelerator pedal by the urging force of the hysteresis spring exerted in an accelerator-full-closing position of the accelerator pedal. A second increase rate is obtained by dividing an urging force of the return spring exerted in the accelerator-full-opening position of the accelerator pedal by the urging force of the return spring exerted in the accelerator-full-closing position of the accelerator pedal. The second increase rate is smaller than the first increase rate.
