A motion evaluation system includes a sensor unit, an information processing device, and an information presentation device. The information processing device includes a communication device, a storage device, and an arithmetic device. The arithmetic device acquires motion data acquired by observing a user through the use of a sensor via the communication device, checks the motion data against information about the correctness of motions in the reference information, determines a state of motion of the user, specifies a motion in a state to be improved as an improvement, check the motion data after the motion corresponding to the improvement against information about busy levels of the user to specify a busy level of the user, and outputs, as improvement suggestion information about the improvement, information with different contents at each of multiple times to an information presentation device based on the improvement and a rule predetermined according to each situation of the busy level.

Motion evaluation system, motion evaluation device, and motion evaluation method

The present invention is provided to notify a person who makes a movement of a part to be improved in the movement. A movement evaluation system includes: a proficiency degree estimating unit generating a proficiency degree score on the basis of movement data obtained by detecting a movement of a user; an improvement point extracting unit specifying a part of the movement of the user as an improvement point on the basis of the movement data; and an information generating unit generating suggestion information to be presented to the user, on the basis of the improvement point.

Movement evaluation system and method

A manipulation detection device includes a first manipulation detection process based on detection of light emission of an electronic pen (a first manipulation object) and a second manipulation detection process based on detection of a shadow of a finger (a second manipulation object) by radiation of illumination light. An image sensor captures an image of the electronic pen and an image of the finger, and image signal processing units perform a contrast adjustment of the captured image. Here, a state of the contrast adjustment performed by the image signal processing unit differs between the captured image of the electronic pen and the captured image of the finger. Manipulation detecting units execute a manipulation detection process for the electronic pen and the finger using the captured image which has undergone the contrast adjustment.

Manipulation detection device and video display system that are capable detecting an object on a video display surface

An operation target device projects a display video onto a projection surface, which is captured by a camera. An operation detectable region specifying unit specifies respective regions where an operation is detectable and is undetectable in a range in which the display video is projected, based on image data captured by the camera. Finger and pen contact position detection units detect the operation to the operation object based on the image data. The operation target device displays the display video so that the region where the operation to the operation object is detectable, which is specified by the operation detectable region specifying unit, is distinguished from the region where the operation to the operation object is undetectable. The operation target device changes a display position of the operation object so the operation object is displayed within a range of the region where the operation to the operation object is detectable.

Projection video display apparatus and video display method

An operation target device projects a display video onto a projection surface, which is captured by a camera. An operation detectable region specifying unit specifies respective regions where an operation is detectable and is undetectable based on image data captured by the camera. Finger and pen contact position detection units detect the operation to the operation object based on the image data captured by the camera. The operation target device displays the display video so that the region where the operation to the operation object is detectable, which is specified by the operation detectable region specifying unit, is distinguished from the region where the operation to the operation object is undetectable. In addition, the operation target device changes a display position of the operation object so that the operation object is displayed within a range of the region where the operation to the operation object is detectable.

A video display device includes first and second illuminators irradiating a manipulation surface with illumination light for manipulation detection in different directions, an imaging unit employing an imaging element of a rolling shutter system that images the irradiated manipulation surface together with a manipulation object of a user, and a contact point detecting unit detecting a contact point at which the manipulation object of the user touches the manipulation surface based on a captured image of the imaging unit. Captured images of shadows of the manipulation object of the user formed by repeatedly lighting up the first illuminator and the second illuminator alternately are used in a contact point detection process of the contact point detecting unit, and in the alternate lighting of the first illuminator and the second illuminator, a lighting period of one illuminator is longer than an imaging cycle of one frame of the imaging unit.

Video display device and manipulation detection method used therefor

A projection video display device includes: a projection unit projecting a display video upon a projection surface; an image capture unit; detection units detecting the states of manipulation objects which carry out actions for the input manipulation; a manipulation instruction information generating unit, on the basis of the states of the manipulation objects which the detection units have detected, generating manipulation instruction information indicating a description of the input manipulation; and a communication unit connecting to the information processing device. The detection units detect movements of manipulation objects and attributes which represent the states of manipulation objects other than the movements. The manipulation instruction information generating unit generates, first control information for carrying out the pointer manipulation input upon the information processing device, and, on the basis of the attributes of the manipulation objects, second control information for carrying out a prescribed key input upon the information processing device.
