An aid tool used for aiding in replacement operation of a part to be replaced in an image forming apparatus. This aid tool includes: a part holding unit for holding a part to be replaced; and a mounting portion for removably mounting the part holding unit on an image forming apparatus. The part holding unit is for example a part housing container for housing a part, and may also serve as a packaging container which houses a new replacing part. The part housing container may include, for example, a main body for receiving the part to be replaced, and a lid for openably closing the main body.

A heat-sensitive recording material comprises a recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored basic dye and a developing agent on a support. The recording layer further contains a polyethylene having a melting point not lower than 60.degree. C., which is obtained as an emulsion not comprising a surfactant. The heat-sensitive recording material may be prepared by coating on a support an aqueous coating composition, which contains a colorless or light-colored basic dye and a developing agent together with a polyethylene emulsion comprising a polyethylene having a melting point not lower than 60.degree. C. but no surfactant (e.g. emulsifier), to form a recording layer.

The present invention provides a heat sensitive recording material comprising a substrate, a recording layer formed over the substrate and containing a colorless or light-colored basic dye and a color acceptor, and a protective layer formed over the recording layer, the recording material being characterized in that microcapsules having an ultraviolet absorber enclosed therein and having substantially no color forming ability are incorporated in the protective layer. Further, the present invention provides microcapsules having an ultraviolet absorber and as required an organic solvent enclosed therein, which have capsule wall film of synthetic resin and mean particle size of 0.1 to 3 .mu.m.
