Wind noise is suppressed from occurring in a gap between a support body and a housing body, without obstructing movement of the housing body with respect to the support body. An outer mirror device includes a mirror that assists visual recognition by an occupant of a vehicle, a visor that houses the mirror, a base that supports the visor such that the visor is capable of moving, and a seal member that is provided to the base. The seal member is separated from the visor when a speed of the vehicle is a predetermined speed or lower, and abuts the visor when the speed of the vehicle exceeds the predetermined speed so as to seal at least part of a space between the visor and the base.

Vehicle visual recognition device

A viewing device for a vehicle including: a supporting body provided at a vehicle body side; a pivoting body that is pivotably supported at the supporting body, with a gap being provided between the pivoting body and the supporting body in a radial direction of pivoting; a viewing instrument that is provided at the pivoting body, that facilitates viewing by a vehicle occupant, and that is folded in or folded out as a result of the pivoting body being pivoted to one side or to another side; and a restricting portion that is provided at one of the supporting body or the pivoting body, and that restricts communication between one side and another side of the gap, with the restriction of communication between the one side and the other side of the gap being released when the viewing instrument is folded in or folded out.

Viewing device for a vehicle

Fixed-to portions of a visor cover are fixed to fixing portions of a bracket. Engagement hooks of the visor cover are disposed at back sides of outer peripheral end portions of a visor rim. When the fixed-to portions are caused to abut abutting portions of the bracket and the visor rim, the engagement hook is separated from the outer peripheral end portion in a vehicle width direction and the engagement hook is separated from the outer peripheral end portion in a vehicle front-rear direction. Thus, the fixed-to portions are caused to abut the abutting portions and are moved toward the fixing portions, enabling rubbing of the engagement hook and the engagement hook against the outer peripheral end portion and the outer peripheral end portion to be suppressed.

Door mirror device and door mirror device manufacturing method

A vehicle mirror device including: a support body supported on a vehicle body side; a housing body housing the mirror; a covering body that covers the housing body at a back face side of the mirror; an up-down restricting section that restricts relative movement of the first bottom wall section and the second bottom wall section in the up-down direction; a horizontal displacement restricting section that restricts relative movement of the first bottom wall section and the second bottom wall section in the extension direction of the boundary; and an engagement section that is provided at mutually adjacent sides of the first and second bottom wall sections, such that the first and second bottom walls engage with each other in a state bearing tension in a direction to separate the first bottom wall section and the second bottom wall section from each other in a bottom view.

Vehicle mirror device

A door mirror includes a first attachment section in which an abutting portion is provided at a plating visor so as to extend along a vehicle up-down direction, and in which a restricting portion that abuts the abutting portion is provided at a visor cover; and a second attachment section in which an engagement portion is provided at the plating visor so as to extend along the vehicle up-down direction, and in which a catch portion that engages with the engagement portion is provided at the visor cover.

Door mirror device

Deformation of an assembly portion side portion of a rotating portion is suppressed in a rotating mechanism. In a vehicle door mirror device, a case rotates with respect to an assembly portion of a stand on actuation of a stowage mechanism, thereby rotating a bracket and a mirror integrally with the case. The case is housed inside a housing sleeve of the bracket from the lower side. A reinforcement is fixed to the lower side of the case, the reinforcement thereby restricting deformation of a lower side portion of the case. Vibration deformation of the lower side portion of the case due for example to vibration of the vehicle can accordingly be suppressed, enabling the occurrence of chattering of the mirror to be suppressed.

In a vehicle door mirror device, a base is attached to a door and covered with a base cover. A gasket is disposed on a door panel of the base cover, a seal portion of the gasket seals a gap between a lower side end of the base cover and the door panel. The seal portion is extended from the gasket toward the base cover side. Therefore, even if a dimension of the gap between the lower side end of the base cover and the door panel varies, the lower side end of the seal portion can be suppressed from being separated from an outer periphery of the base cover toward the inner side, the base cover can be suppressed from looking floating from the door panel, and appearance of the gap between the lower side end of the base cover and the door panel can be improved.
