Scintillator

The scintillator panel includes a support, a reflective layer on the support, and a scintillator layer formed on the reflective layer by deposition. The reflective layer includes light-scattering particles and a binder resin. The light scattering particles are buried in the binder resin such that there is an area free of light scattering particles in the reflective layer.

Deposition substrate and scintillator panel

The present invention provides a radiation image detecting device which suppresses occurrence of image irregularities and reduction of sharpness by joining a planar light-receiving device and a scintillator panel so that the distance between the planar light-receiving device and the scintillator panel via an adhesive layer is uniform in plane. The present invention also provides a process for producing the radiation image detecting device. The radiation image detecting device includes, in order, a scintillator panel including a support and a scintillator layer on the support, the scintillator layer having a film-thickness distribution; an adhesive layer; and a planar light-receiving device. In the radiation image detecting device, at least one of the support and the planar light-receiving device bends, so that the scintillator panel and the planar light-receiving device are arranged in plane via the adhesive layer at uniform distance.

Radiation image detecting device and process for producing the same

The scintillator panel includes a support, a reflective layer on the support, and a scintillator layer formed on the reflective layer by deposition. The reflective layer includes light-scattering particles and a binder resin. A specific region of the reflective layer is defined by a resin or includes light-scattering particles having a specific area average particle diameter, or the reflective layer has a specific arithmetic average roughness.

Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a flat panel detector such that the surface on the side of a fluorescent body layer of a scintillator panel which has the fluorescent body layer comprising a column crystal on the supporting body, is coupled to the planar light receiving element surface of a light-receiving element, comprising: a step of manufacturing the scintillator panel which has a larger area than that of the planar light receiving element surface; a step of trimming the edges of the scintillator panel, obtained by the step of manufacturing the scintillator panel, to correspond to the area of the planar light receiving element surface; and a step of coupling the edge-trimmed scintillator panel to the planar light receiving element surface, thus providing a flat panel detector which has an excellent productivity and that can be made small in size without non-image area.

Method of manufacturing flat panel detector

A scintillator panel exhibiting enhanced moisture resistance is disclosed, comprising a scintillator sheet provided on a substrate with a scintillator layer, and the whole of the scintillator sheet is covered with a protective layer and a space in which gas is capable of flowing is provided between the protective layer and the scintillator sheet.

Flat panel detector

Scintillator panel, method of manufacturing the same and radiation imaging apparatus

An objective is to provide a flat panel detector exhibiting high durability and less noise, which is fitted with a scintillator for radiation exhibiting high emission efficiency, wherein the scintillator is easy to be manufactured because of the simple structure. Also disclosed is a scintillator panel for radiation possessing a radiotransparent substrate and provided thereon, a phosphor layer from which light is emitted by exposing the substrate to radiation and a reflective film at which light from the phosphor layer is reflected, wherein the reflective film provided between the substrate and the phosphor layer possesses a multilayer film composed of at least two dielectric layers exhibiting a high reflectivity.

Scintillator panel for radiation, and flat panel detector

A scintillator panel comprising: (a) a scintillator sheet comprising: (i) a substrate, and (ii) a phosphor layer formed on the substrate; (b) a first protective film provided on a phosphor layer side surface of the scintillator sheet; and (c) a second protective film provided on a substrate side surface of the scintillator sheet, wherein (d) the scintillator sheet is sealed by the first protective film and the second protective film; and (e) the first protective film is not substantially coherent with the phosphor layer.
