A mount is slid with respect to a base to build an assembly, the base including an upper surface fixed to a vehicle, a lower surface facing a direction opposite to that of the upper surface, a first lateral surface located between the lower surface and the upper surface, and a second lateral surface located between the lower surface and the upper surface and located opposite to the first lateral surface. The mount includes a bottom surface facing the lower surface, a first lateral wall joined to the bottom surface and facing the first lateral surface, and a second lateral wall joined to the bottom surface and facing the second lateral surface. A thickness of the first lateral wall in a direction from the first lateral wall to the second lateral wall is smaller in a first lower portion than in a first upper portion.

A portable terminal device has a battery cover that can be opened/closed without a tool, and is small and thin, with a waterproof structure. The device has a housing with a battery pocket which houses a battery; and a battery cover which slides and opens/closes the battery pocket. The housing has a battery cover engaging section wherein a locking claw disposed on one end of the battery cover slides and is inserted such that the end of the battery cover is supported; and a packing deformation preventing/suppressing wall, which surrounds the battery pocket, except on the battery cover engaging section, and prevents a packing, integrally molded with the battery cover from deforming. The packing is integrally molded with the battery cover and a deformation preventing rib prevents the packing from deforming in the region having no packing deformation preventing/suppressing wall.

In a housing comprising an upper case and a lower case are stored a whip antenna, a built-in antenna, a receiver for outputting a voice, a display part for indicating characters and marks, a back side key to be operated during the call, a flexible substrate comprising a diaphragm switch, a printed board, and a shield case for shielding a receiving circuit part and a radio circuit part. In the case the user would like to keep the content of the conversation during the call, the back side key can be operated by a finger. Accordingly, the diaphragm switch is turned on so as to drive a recording mechanism.

Via this configuration, the liquid crystal display apparatus can be configured using a flexible board having a single-sided pattern and assembly of the liquid crystal display device and the printed circuit board can be facilitated.
