Power transmitting device

At least one of a state and a storage amount of a battery is detected, and a battery output that can be outputted by the battery is calculated on the basis of it. A state of an electric motor is detected, and at least one of electric motor torque and electric motor output that can be outputted from the electric motor and maximal torque of the electric motor are calculated on the basis of it. A state of an engine is detected, and engine starting torque required to start the engine is calculated on the basis of it. An EV range in which the engine is cut off to be capable of driving with only the electric motor is set up on the basis of the calculated battery output, at least one of the calculated electric motor torque and electric motor output, and the calculated engine starting torque.

In a twin-clutch type transmission in which an electric motor is connected to one of transmission shafts, when downshifting is executed during EV running, a braking force is ensured by controlling in a cooperative fashion a regenerative brake and wheel brakes Bto Bso as to compensate for the loss of braking force during downshifting by the wheel brakes Bto Bor a braking force is ensured by making use of engine braking effects.

Vehicle driving system

A lever fitting-type connector includes a first connector on which a fitting detection member is slidably mounted a second connector, which is adapted to be fitted into the first connector, and a connecting lever which is provided on either one of the first and second connectors for operating the first and second connectors from a provisionally fitted condition to a completely fitted condition to each other. The fitting detection member slides to a lock position so that the fitting detection member is engaged with a first engagement hole of the connecting lever to lock the connecting lever in the completely fitted condition. When the fitting detection member is positioned at the lock position, a lock confirmation portion of the fitting detection member is projected from both of the first engagement hole and a distal end face of the connecting lever.
