An optical fiber cable includes a plurality of first optical fiber cords including a trunk optical fiber cord and a branch optical fiber cord, a second optical fiber cord connected to the branch optical fiber cord, and a case covering a part of the plurality of first optical fiber cords and a part of the second optical fiber cord, where the case includes a first tube portion through which a trunk optical fiber cord is passed, a second tube portion adjacent to the first tube portion and through which a branch optical fiber cord is passed, and a partition wall partitioning the first tube portion and the second tube portion.

An optical connection structure including first optical fibers, second optical fibers, a first optical connector, and a second optical connector is disclosed. The first optical connector is configured such that each of first distal end portions of the first optical fibers protrudes from a first front end surface to the outside when the first optical connector and the second optical connector are connected to each other. Each of the first distal end portions is inserted into a corresponding second fiber hole of the second optical connector. The first optical fibers and the second optical fibers are optically coupled to each other inside the second fiber holes.

A wiring module includes: a bottom plate; a module having two surfaces facing each other; a plurality of optical fibers, each of which is connected to the module via at least one of the surfaces of the module; and a plurality of reels which are sequentially stacked on an upper surface of the bottom plate, each of the plurality of reels accommodating a bundle of one corresponding optical fiber among the plurality of optical fibers. The module is disposed in a space formed inside the plurality of reels which are stacked.

An optical communication system comprises N server racks, first and second distribution frames, and first and second optical fiber cables. Each of the first and second optical fiber cables has N optical connector groups for racks and an optical connector group for distribution frame including M optical connectors. The closer the number of an optical connector of the M optical connectors is to the last number, the longer a wiring distance from the optical connector group for distribution frame to a corresponding optical connector group of the N optical connector groups for racks in the first optical fiber cable. The closer the number of an optical connector of the M optical connectors is to the last number, the shorter a wiring distance from the optical connector group for distribution frame to a corresponding optical connector group of the N optical connector groups for racks in the second optical fiber cable.

Optical communication system

An adapter mounting structure for mounting, on a rack, a plurality of adapters to which optical connectors are connected. The adapter mounting structure includes a first panel including insertion holes through which the plurality of adapters are inserted, the first panel being configured to expose, to a front side of the rack, the plurality of adapters thus inserted and being anchored to the rack, and a second panel disposed to a rear side of the rack relative to the first panel, the second panel being anchored to the first panel and being configured to anchor each of the plurality of adapters.

Optical component housing box

A termination unit includes: a plurality of first optical fibers fusion-connected to a multicore cable; a tray slidable in a first direction, the tray being provided on one end side of the termination unit in the first direction; and a plurality of adapters which are provided in a line on the tray, to which a plurality of second optical fibers are connected from each of one end sides of the adapters, and to which the plurality of first optical fibers are connected from each of the other end sides of the adapters, in which the tray has a cover part for protecting the plurality of adapters, and in which the cover part is rotatable with a shaft that extends along a second direction, and the cover part rotates downward when the tray has slid in a direction toward the one end side from the other end side.

Termination unit

An optical fiber rack includes: a rack part on which a plurality of termination units arranged along an up-down direction are located; an optical fiber housing part which has a back plate and in which an extra length wiring part in a plurality of optical fiber bundles connected to each of the plurality of termination units is housed; and a plurality of first dividing bodies for dividing locations of the optical fiber bundles in the optical fiber housing part, the plurality of first dividing bodies being attached to the back plate so as to be arranged along the up-down direction in the optical fiber housing part. The first dividing body has a holding part for holding the corresponding optical fiber bundle, and the holding part of the first dividing body provided lower in the up-down direction is positioned to be separated from the back plate.

Fiber optic cable rack

A tray unit includes: a plurality of trays each of which has a protrusion at a side end portion thereof; and a pair of frames vertically provided with a plurality tiers of rail portions, the plurality of tiers of rail portions accommodating the plurality of trays in a slidable manner in a horizontal direction. And the rail portion at each tier include a clamp on a surface facing the side end portion of the tray, the clamps in the plurality of tiers are aligned in a vertical direction, the clamp has an opening to which the protrusion is fittable, and when the side end portion of the tray move to a predetermined position with respect to the rail portion, the clamp is elastically deformed in the vertical direction of the rail portion, and the protrusion is fitted into the opening.

Tray unit

An optical fiber rack includes a rack part on which a plurality of termination units arranged in a vertical direction are located, a first optical fiber housing part in which extra length wiring parts of a plurality of first optical fibers connected with each of the plurality of termination units are housed, a second optical fiber housing part in which an extra length wiring part of a second optical fiber connected with any of the termination units is housed, and a partition plate partitioning the first optical fiber housing part from the second optical fiber housing part.

Optical fiber rack

A termination unit located on a rack part of an optical fiber rack includes a housing a plurality of first optical fibers located in the housing, the plurality of first optical fibers being fusion spliced to a multi fiber cable introduced from an outside of the optical fiber rack, an adapter group including a plurality of adapters in a line in the housing, the plurality of adapters being respectively connected to the plurality of first optical fibers on an inside of the housing and being respectively connected to a plurality of second optical fibers on an outside of the housing, and an optical fiber passing part through which at least one optical fiber is configured to pass, the optical fiber passing part being located in at least one of: the adapter group, and between the housing and the adapter group in an arrangement direction.

Termination unit and optical fiber exchange method using the same

A termination unit to be located on a rack part of an optical fiber rack includes a housing, a plurality of first optical fibers located in the housing and fusion spliced to a multi fiber cable introduced from an outside of the optical fiber rack, a plurality of external connection adapters located in a line in a first direction, and in which the plurality of first optical fibers are respectively connected to the plurality of external connection adaptors on an inside of the housing, a guide part located on one side surface of the housing crossing the first direction, and extending in a second direction crossing the first direction, and a fixing member attached to the one side surface of the housing, and to which the multi fiber cable is fixed. The fixing member is movably attached along the guide part.
