Transport apparatus

A transport device includes a body unit, an accommodating unit that accommodates a recording medium and is mounted to be reciprocal with respect to the body unit, a pair of guide members that come in contact with end portions, in a width direction, of the recording medium to position the recording medium, the width direction intersecting with a transport direction of the recording medium, a first rail that is attached to the accommodating unit and guides reciprocation of the accommodating unit, and a second rail that is attached to the body unit to be movable in a direction, which intersects with a reciprocation direction of the accommodating unit, the second rail being assembled to the body unit to be slidable with respect to the first rail.

Transport device

A guide device includes a plate on which a first medium is to be placed, and provided above a space in which a container is to be inserted, a moving member that moves along a surface of the plate in a supply direction of the first medium or in an opposite direction, a substantially sheetlike guide member that guides the first medium in the supply direction, and a drawing member that draws the moving member toward the plate. When the container is taken out of the space, the moving member is drawn toward the plate in the opposite direction by the drawing member, and the guide member withdraws to a position superposed on the plate. When the container is inserted in the space, the moving member is pushed in the supply direction by the container, and the guide member protrudes from the position in the supply direction.

Guide device and image forming apparatus

A replacement unit includes a bottom member and a guide groove. The bottom member is supported at one of plural support members. The guide groove provided at the bottom member, is guided by plural protrusions provided at the support member and disposed in a row, and extends in an installation direction along which the replacement unit is installed in a device body from sideward of the device body.
