According to one embodiment, an X-ray computed tomography apparatus includes a gantry that performs X-ray CT imaging; a bed that movably supports a table top on which a subject lies; an optical emitter that is provided on the gantry and emits a light beam to the subject lying on the table top; and an estimator that estimates a shape index value of a cross section of the subject in an imaging range by utilizing the light beam emitted to the subject.

X-ray computed tomography apparatus

An X-ray computer-tomography (CT) apparatus includes an X-ray detector, a reading unit, and a read control unit. The X-ray detector has a first region and a second region at least a part of which is aligned with the first region along a channel direction, the first region in which a plurality of first detection devices that detect X-rays are arranged, the second region in which a plurality of second detection devices having a width smaller in a slice direction than that of the first detection device are arranged. The reading unit reads a signal of the X-rays detected. The read control unit adjusts timing of reading signals from the first detection device and the second detection device according to difference between the size of the first and the second detection device in such a manner that time difference in the reading signals in the slice direction decreases.

X-ray computer-tomography apparatus

According to an embodiment, detector cells are provided on a substrate, divided into groups, and detect an X-rays. Switches respectively connected to the detector cells. The data acquisition elements are respectively connected to the groups and configured to integrate electrical signals from a detector cells belonging to each of the groups. The control circuitry are configured to control the switches for each of the groups so as to switch between first connection for substantially simultaneously reading out electrical signals from a detector cells belonging to each of the groups and second connection for reading out electrical signals from a detector cells belonging to each of the groups at different timings.

A photon counting type X-ray computed tomography apparatus includes an X-ray tube, a detector, a raw data generating section, an information compression section, and a data transmission section. The X-ray tube is configured to irradiate an X-ray. The detector is configured to count photons derived from the irradiated X-ray. The raw data generating section is configured to collect results of counting performed by the detector and to generate, from the results of counting, raw data for each of a plurality of energy bands. The information compression section is configured to compare values of the raw data between the raw data generated respectively for the energy bands, and to perform information compression of each of the raw data. The data transmission section is configured to transmit the raw data compressed by the information compression.

Photon counting type X-ray computed tomography apparatus and data transfer method for the same

An X-ray CT apparatus includes: an X-ray detector in which detecting elements that detect X-rays are arranged in a body-axis direction and a rotation direction; an acquiring unit that acquires signals of the X-rays detected by at least one group of detecting elements which includes a predetermined quantity of detecting elements and in which detecting elements are arranged in at least the rotation direction and that, when reading the signals detected by the detecting elements arranged in the rotation direction from the X-ray detector, sequentially reads the signals at times that vary among the detecting elements arranged in the rotation direction; a correction signal acquiring unit that, in accordance with the signal reading times, acquires correction signals used in a correcting process performed when an image is generated; and an image generating unit that generates the image by applying each correction signal to a corresponding one of the signals.

X-ray CT apparatus and X-ray diagnosis apparatus

According to one embodiment, detector and DAS includes an X-ray detector, a board, a DAS, and a plurality of X-ray shielding plates. The X-ray detector detects X-rays and generates an electrical signal corresponding to the detected X-rays. The board is coupled to the X-ray detector and includes a wiring pattern to extract the electrical signal from the X-ray detector. The DAS is coupled to the board and included an electronic part to perform signal processing for the electrical signal. The X-ray shielding plates are provided for the board to prevent the electronic part from being exposed to X-rays transmitted through the X-ray detector. A portion of the wiring pattern is placed between the X-ray shielding plates.

An X-ray CT apparatus includes an X-ray source configured to generate an X-ray; a scintillator configured to convert the X-ray into a fluorescent; a substrate including a plurality of photosensitive elements configured to convert the fluorescent into an electric charge; a temperature sensor formed on the surface of the substrate; a heat element formed on the surface of the substrate; and a controller configured to control a temperature of the photodiode by adjusting an electric current of the heat element.

According to one embodiment, a radioactive ray detecting apparatus includes: a scintillator that produces visible light from a radioactive ray; a light detecting portion including a light receiving element that generates an electrical signal on a basis of intensity of visible light; a first board; a first electrical connection unit that electrically connects the light detecting portion and a first surface of the first board to each other; a second board disposed to face the first board; a second electrical connection that electrically connects a first surface of the second board and a second surface of the first board being opposite from the first surface of the first board to each other; and a data acquisition device that processes an electrical signal transmitted from the light detecting portion through the first electrical connection unit, the first board, the second electrical connection unit, and the second board.

Radioactive ray detecting apparatus, method of manufacturing the same, and imaging system

An X-ray CT apparatus has an X-ray source, an X-ray detector, a temperature sensor, a data acquisition unit and a controller. The X-ray source generates an X-ray. The X-ray detector detects the X-ray. The temperature sensor detects a temperature of the X-ray detector. The data acquisition unit acquires data from the X-ray detector. The controller controls a temperature of the X-ray detector through adjustment of a workload of the data acquisition unit during a non-scanning time.
