In this case, the lid opening/closing device operates in an interlocking manner with the taking-out/conveying device and is opened when the taking-out operation by the taking-out/conveying device is started, and is closed when the taking-out operation is completed.

An object of the present invention is to provide an interleaf paper for packaging planographic printing plates and preventing breakage of the plate-making layer at the time packaging, and a planographic printing plate package structure using a plurality of the above-mentioned interleaf paper. A protective cardboard for planographic printing plates has a cardboard main body, a moisture-proofing layer on both surfaces of the cardboard main body, and an adhering paper adhered onto the moisture-proofing layer. By the adhering paper contacting an interleaf sheet, a coefficient Y of static friction between the protective cardboard and the interleaf sheet is equal to or less than a coefficient X of static friction between the interleaf sheet and an image forming surface of the planographic printing paper (i.e., Y&lE;X).

A packaging structure of planographic printing plates and an internal packaging material for the plates, which reliably protect the planographic printing plates from an external force, and which block the plates from light and keep the plates free from moisture; wherein the internal packaging material and an external packaging material are easily recycled. A stack of the planographic printing plates is internally packaged in the internal packaging material, whose light transmittance is a predetermined value or lower, and the stack is further packaged in the external packaging material. Light coming from the exterior of the closed external packaging material to the interior thereof becomes faint, and moreover, the planographic printing plates are prevented from accidental exposure due to a light-blocking property of the internal packaging material. In order to more reliably protect the planographic printing plates, the external packaging material has a predetermined strength, and further has a buffering property against changes in temperature and humidity.

A package of photosensitive planographic printing plates which comprises a stack of the photosensitive planographic printing plates between each of which a protection paper is interposed, wherein the coefficient of static friction between the surface of the photosensitive layer of the photosensitive planographic printing plate and the surface of the protection paper is 0.3 or more. In the package, slippage between the photosensitive planographic printing plate and the protection paper and abrasion of the photosensitive layer rarely occur through transport.

A packaging box is formed by a bottom surface member disposed at the side of a bottom surface of goods to be packaged, and a top surface member disposed at the side of a top surface of the goods to be packaged. The bottom surface member includes a base panel, side panels formed extending integrally from the base panel and further shaped to correspond to side surfaces of the goods to be packaged. An attachment panel extends integrally from the end of each side panel. The top surface member and base panel typically include corrugations. The interleaf paper for covering a photosensitive printing plate material which is coated with a water-soluble oxidization preventing layer, is characterized in that the interleaf paper has air permeability of between about 15 seconds and about 300 seconds. If the photosensitive printing plate material is covered with the interleaf paper, it is possible to release the interleaf paper in the automatic interleaf paper releasing apparatus and stabilize the sensitivity of the photosensitive printing plate material in a short period of time.

A photosensitive printing plate supplying apparatus for supplying a photosensitive printing plate to an automatic plate making machine for a photosensitive printing plate includes a printing plate packaging device which accommodates a bundle of photosensitive printing plates; a printing plate accommodating portion to which the printing plate packaging device is removably attached and which can completely shield light from the exterior; and a taking-out/conveying device which takes out the photosensitive printing plates from an interior of the printing plate packaging device in the light-shielded accommodation portion and conveys the photosensitive printing plates to a predetermined position.
