An object of the present invention is to provide a lubricating oil composition that is particularly excellent in viscosity characteristics at a low temperature of −35° C., i.e., the lubricating oil composition inhibiting an increase in low temperature viscosity while securing a viscosity necessary at an elevated temperature, and being excellent in storage stability in a low temperature environment. The present invention relates to a lubricating oil composition including a copolymer (A) and a base oil (B), in which the copolymer (A) satisfies the following requirement (a-1), and the content ratio between the copolymer (A) and the base oil (B) is such that the copolymer (A) is in a range of 0.1 to 50 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass in total of the copolymer (A) and the base oil (B). (a-1) The copolymer (A) is a copolymer of 4-methyl-1-pentene and an α-olefin having 20 or less carbon atoms excluding 4-methyl-1-pentene, including a constituent unit derived from 4-methyl-1-pentene within a range of 1 mol % or more and less than 30 mol % relative to the total constituent units.

An object of the present invention is to provide a lubricating oil composition particularly excellent in viscosity characteristics at a low temperature. The present invention provides: a lubricating oil composition including a polymer (A) and a base oil (B), wherein the polymer (A) satisfies the following requirement (A-1), and the content ratio of the polymer (A) and the base oil (B) is such that the ratio of a resin (A) is within the range of from 0.1 to 50 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the total amount of the polymer (A) and the base oil (B). (A-1) The polymer (A) is a polymer containing a structural unit derived from an &#x3b1;-olefin having 20 or less carbon atoms.

An object of the present invention is to provide a stretchable structure that has stretchability together with high stress relaxation properties, and provides fit feeling with less tightening by recovering slowly after stretching. The object is achieved by a stretchable structure having the following characteristics: a tensile permanent set (PS) of 1% or more and 50% or less, wherein the tensile permanent set (PS) is a value obtained 10 minutes after 150% elongation at a tension rate of 200 mm/minute in accordance with JIS K7127, and a ratio PS/PSof 1.10 or more, wherein the PSis the tensile permanent set obtained 10 minutes after the elongation and the PSis the tensile permanent set obtained 1 minute after the elongation.

The present invention provides a 4-methyl-1-pentene/&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer being excellent in lightness, stress absorption, stress relaxation, vibration damping properties, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, toughness, mechanical properties and flexibility, having no stickiness during molding operation and being excellent in the balance among these properties; a composition comprising the polymer; and uses thereof. The 4-methyl-1-pentene/&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer (A) of the present invention satisfies specific requirements, and comprises 5 to 95 mol % of a structural unit (i) derived from 4-methyl-1-pentene, 5 to 95 mol % of a structural unit (ii) derived from at least one kind of &#x3b1;-olefin selected from &#x3b1;-olefins having 2 to 20 carbon atoms excluding 4-methyl-1-pentene and 0 to 10 mol % of a structural unit (iii) derived from a non-conjugated polyene, provided that the total of the structural units (i), (ii), and (iii) is 100 mol %.

4-methyl-1-pentene/&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer, composition comprising the copolymer and 4-methyl-1-pentene copolymer composition

To provide a 4-methyl-1-pentene/olefin (co)polymer composition which is excellent in transparency and heat resistance and is excellent also in elongation and toughness and to provide a molded product composed of the composition, a film composed of the composition, which is excellent in transparency, heat resistance and dimensional stability and has been uniformly stretched, and a hollow molded product composed of the composition, which is excellent in transparency, heat resistance and toughness and is excellent also in dimensional stability. The 4-methyl-1-pentene (co)polymer composition of the present invention comprises a specific 4-methyl-1-pentene (co)polymer (A) and a specific 4-methyl-1-pentene/&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer (B) in a specific ratio.
