A mammography apparatus has a determination unit, a setting unit, a generating unit and a display unit. The determination unit determines whether a radiographic image of a breast contains an implant part based on a pixel value distribution in a predetermined region concerning data of the radiographic image. The setting unit changes a setting of a parameter for a tone conversion process based on a determination made by the determination unit. The generating unit generates a display image based on the radiographic image by application of the parameter. The display unit displays the display image.

Mammography apparatus, image processing apparatus, and image processing method

An X-ray tube generates X-rays. A detector detects X-rays generated by the X-ray tube and transmitted through a subject. A C-arm is equipped with the X-ray tube and the detector. An arm support mechanism rotatably supports the C-arm. A top is on which the subject is placed. A bed supports the top so as to change a relative positional relationship along a horizontal direction between the C-arm and the top. The bed supports the top so as to change a relative positional relationship along a vertical direction between the C-arm and the top. A mechanism control unit controls the arm support mechanism and the bed so as to a perpendicular extending from a focus of the X-ray tube intersects the top at a predetermined position thereon, and a distance interval between the X-ray tube and the predetermined position is fixed during rotation of the C-arm.

X-ray diagnosis apparatus

A radiation detector including a detection member, a first driver, an integration amplifier, and a first adjustment member. The detection member includes a plurality of pixels and is configured to generate a first charge. Further, the first driver is configured to supply the detection member with a first predetermined voltage so that the detection member generates the first charge, and the integration amplifier is configured to amplify the first charge generated from the detection member. In addition, the first adjustment member is provided in between the detection member and the integration amplifier, and is configured to adjust an offset component included in the first charge to be amplified by the integration amplifier.

An X-ray flat panel detector includes sensor elements constituted by a plurality of effective pixels that detect X-rays and a plurality of dummy pixels that are arranged adjacent to the effective pixel area and generate electrical signals irrelevant to X-rays, signal lines which read out electrical signals from the respective pixels, scanning lines which scan the respective pixels, a first electrostatic wiring line which distributes static electricity accumulated in the signal lines, and a second electrostatic wiring line which distributes static electricity accumulated in the scanning lines. A plurality of dummy pixels are classified into a DA area where noise superposed on the signal lines are removed and a DB area where noise superposed on the scanning lines are removed. The first and second electrostatic wiring lines are laid out around the sensor elements, and physically disconnected between the DA area and the DB area.

X-ray flat panel detector

A radiation detector has a plurality of charge conversion elements which are laid out in a matrix and convert incoming radiation into charges, a plurality of capacitors for storing the charges generated by the charge conversion elements, and charge read elements for reading the charges stored in the capacitors. Signals other than signals originated to charges stored in the capacitors, which are produced upon, e.g., turning on/off the charge read elements are canceled by adjustment means, thus improving the S/N ratio.

Radiation detector

A glass substrate has formed on a front side thereof pixels each including a photoelectric conversion device, a capacitor and a TFT, and signal lines for reading signals via TFT's of the pixels, and on a back side thereof vertical selection lines for selecting the pixels, and has provided therethrough electric contacts for interconnection between gates of the TFT's and the vertical selection lines. The signal lines and the vertical selection lines are in a crossing relationship at thickness distance across the substrate, with reduced wiring capacities therebetween.

Radiographic flat panel detector

A main body of a diagnostic table apparatus holds a supporting body slidably. The supporting body holds an X-ray tube and an X-ray flat panel detector so as to face each other. A tabletop of the diagnostic table is fitted rotatably to the main body of the diagnostic table apparatus via a hinge as a diagnostic table withdrawing mechanism. In case a chest radiography is to be taken in a standing position, the tabletop of the diagnostic table is withdrawn, an X-ray is irradiated from the back of the subject who faces an X-ray flat panel detector and puts his or her chin on a chin holder.

R/F and chest radiography compatible X-ray imaging table

A plurality of photoelectric conversion sections correspond respectively to a plurality of pixels arranged on a detection surface for converting incident X rays into charge. A plurality of charge storage sections store the charge converted by the plurality of photoelectric conversion sections, respectively. A plurality of transfer TFTs read out the charge stored in the plurality of charge storage sections, respectively. A plurality of protective TFTs have an end thereof connected to the each input terminal of the plurality of transfer TFTs and sweep out from the other end thereof the charge stored in the charge storage sections when the voltage applied thereto exceeds a predetermined voltage level lower than the breakdown voltage of the transfer TFTs.

X-ray imaging apparatus

An X-ray imaging apparatus comprises an X-ray emission unit for emitting X-rays onto a human body under examination, an X-ray emission control unit for outputting an X-ray emission signal to direct the X-ray emission unit to emit X-rays, a flat panel X-ray detector having a two-dimensional array of detector elements in rows (lines) and columns, each of the detector elements converting incident X-rays passed through the human body under examination into an electric charge signal and storing it, a resetting unit for placing each line of the detector elements in the readout state in sequence, thereby discharging electric charge stored on each of the detector elements, a storage unit for placing all the lines of the detector elements in the readout state to thereby allow each of the detector elements to store an electric charge signal, and a readout unit for placing each line of the detector elements in the readout state in sequence to thereby read an electric charge signal from each of the detector elements.

X-ray imaging apparatus using X-ray planar detector

It is an object of the invention to provide an X-ray diagnosis apparatus having an X-ray plane detector capable of removing the influence of a scattered X-ray by using a grid and also preventing a Moire image. An X-ray image transmitted through a target object is sensed by a plane detector in units of pixels which are two-dimensionally arranged at a predetermined pitch. A scattered X-ray incident on the plane detector is removed by a scattered ray removing grid having plate-like X-ray shielding members and arranged on an X-ray incident side of the plane detector. The X-ray shielding members are arranged such that an X-ray shielding pattern on the X-ray incident surface of the plane detector has a pitch corresponding to an integer fraction of the arrangement pitch of the pixels. When a steady positional relationship is kept between the pitch of the X-ray detection elements and the period of the fringe pattern of the X-ray which is shielded by the grid, a Moire image can be prevented.
