A case component of a transaxle includes: a bearing unit having a through-hole through with a shaft member is to be inserted; a matching surface unit having a matching surface on which another member is to be overlapped; bolt hole portions formed on the matching surface unit; bent wall portions, each having a V-shaped or U-shaped cross-section cut in a direction orthogonal to a straight line connecting a shaft center of the bearing unit and a shaft center of the bolt hole portions, each having a valley portion positioned on the straight line, and connecting the bearing unit and the respective bolt hole portions; and V-shaped portions, connected with the respective bent wall portions, provided on an outer circumference of the respective bolt hole portions, and protruding toward the bearing unit.

Case component of transaxle

An attachment structure for attaching a control component package unit to a transmission casing which accommodates a power transmitting mechanism of a vehicle and which is disposed in a drive-power-source compartment in a front section of the vehicle such that an axial direction of the power transmitting mechanism is parallel to a transverse direction of the vehicle. The control component package unit includes a container casing accommodating control components for controlling the vehicle. The attachment structure is configured to attach the control component package unit to a rear side part of an outer surface of the transmission casing, such that a straight line normal to the rear side part extends in a direction having a component of a rearward direction of the vehicle.

In a vehicular power transmitting system, a fixing portion of a brake retaining portion receives a reaction force from a reverse drive brake and is located in a portion of a circumference of the brake retaining portion, which is outside a predetermined circumferential portion close to the shifting shaft support portion and is defined by a pair of lines tangent to a circumference of the shifting shaft and parallel to a straight line connecting first and second axes and located on opposite sides of the straight line, as seen in a plane normal to the first axis, where a forward/reverse switching device including the reverse drive brake is disposed on the first axis, and a gear type transmission is disposed on the first axis and the second axis and an outer housing wall and a partition wall radially inwardly extending from the outer housing wall are provided.

In the helical gear, an opening perimeter wall includes a first arc side face located at the leading end side in the direction of rotation, concave towards the leading end side in the direction of rotation, and having a distance from the arc center as a first radius. The first arc side face includes a side face at a side of the rotation center of the hub, located at position with a distance from the arc center differing from the length of the first radius, on a verge of a virtual arcuate line centered about the rotation center, and passing through the arc center.

Helical gear and power transmission apparatus

As to a distance in a radial direction of a rotation shaft from a rim at the hub side to an outer peripheral side face, the outer peripheral side face includes a first side region having a distance located at the most leading end side spot in the direction of rotation of a helical gear longer than a distance at a tail end side spot.
