A dust collector cools a controller. The dust controller includes a body housing, a motor located inside the body housing, a fan rotatable by the motor, a controller that controls the motor, and a thermal insulator between the motor and the controller. The thermal insulator defines a flow channel through which an airflow generated by the fan passes.

Dust collector

A backpack dust collector includes a housing and a filter. The housing includes a suction port, a dust collecting chamber connected to the suction port and accommodating a dust collecting bag, a motor chamber connected to the dust collecting chamber and accommodating a fan and a motor, and an exhaust port through which air from the motor chamber is discharged. The filter is disposed on a side of the dust collecting chamber so as to face the dust collecting chamber.

Backpack dust collector

A motor in a dust collector is cooled. The dust collector includes a body housing, a motor located inside the body housing, a cooling fan rotatable by the motor to feed a gas to around the motor and to discharge the gas from around the motor, and a support including a channel through which the gas is flown by the cooling fan. The support supports the motor.

A dust collector has a well-balanced weight. The dust collector includes a body housing, a motor located inside the body housing, a fan rotatable by the motor, and a battery mount located inside the body housing and frontward from the motor.

An upright vacuum cleaner includes a main-body part () having a dust-collection chamber () fluidly connected to a motor chamber () via a coupling pipe (). A fan () and a motor () are housed in the motor chamber. A cleaner head () is pivotably and fluidly connected to the main-body part and suctions air through a suction opening () when a suction force is generated by the fan and the motor in the motor chamber. A straight suction passageway () extends through a central portion of the interior of the cleaner head in plan view. One or more batteries () is/are disposed within the cleaner head spaced apart (outward) from the suction passageway in the plan view.

Upright vacuum cleaner

A backpack dust collector includes a housing, a slit portion, and a noise-absorbing member. The housing includes a suction port, a dust collecting chamber, a motor chamber, and an exhaust port. The dust collecting chamber is connected to the suction port and configured to accommodate a dust collecting bag. The motor chamber is connected to the dust collecting chamber and accommodates a fan and a motor. Through the exhaust port, air from the motor chamber is discharged. The slit portion is disposed in a flow path between the motor chamber and the exhaust port and includes at least one slit-shaped vent through which air from the motor chamber passes. The noise-absorbing member is disposed in at least part of a flow path between the vent and the exhaust port.

A backpack dust collector includes a housing. The housing includes: a suction port; a dust collecting chamber connected to the suction port and configured to accommodate a dust collecting bag; a motor chamber connected to the dust collecting chamber and accommodating a fan and a motor; an exhaust port through which air from the motor chamber is discharged; first and second battery openings; and first and second battery receiving portions respectively corresponding to the first and second battery openings. At least part of the first battery opening is formed on a left side surface of the housing, and at least part of the second battery opening is formed on a right side surface of the housing.

A vacuum cleaner (B) includes a housing () that houses a fan () and a motor (), which generates power that rotates the fan (); one or more air-exhaust ports (), which is provided in at least a portion of the housing (); and a sound-absorbing member () having a through hole (). The sound-absorbing member () is disposed in an interior space of the housing () so as to face the air-exhaust port(s) ().

Vacuum cleaner

A box-type dust collector includes a suction unit that includes a brushless motor and an air blowing fan, a battery mount portion, to which a battery pack that serves as a power source is mountable, a suction port that suctions outside air through rotation of the air blowing fan, and a filter that separates dust from the outside air which is suctioned from the suction port. The bottom surface of a tank serves as a surface for stationary placement. A handle for carriage is provided at a position directly over the center of gravity of the entire box-type dust collector with the battery pack mounted to the battery mount portion. Coupling portions to be coupled to both ends of a shoulder belt are provided at front and rear positions that are point-symmetric about the center of gravity as viewed in plan.

Box-type dust collector

A dust collector includes a tank, a main body, a suction fan, a flexible pre-filter, and a main filter. The tank includes a suction opening. The main body is fixed to an upper portion of the tank. The suction fan is disposed at the main body. The suction fan is rotated by a motor. The flexible pre-filter is housed in the tank at a lower side of the main body. The pre-filter is positioned at an upstream side of external air suctioned from the suction opening. The main filter is positioned at a downstream side of the pre-filter. The main filter has a plate shape disposed laterally.

A dust collector includes a dust-collector main body, a coupling-hose part, an operation unit, and a belt or harness. The dust-collector main body serves to collect dust by generating a suction draft (partial vacuum). The dust-collector main body includes a housing, a motor, a dust-collection chamber, and at least one battery pack mount. The belt or harness is attached to the dust-collector main body and is designed for the user to carry the dust-collector main body on his or her back. The operation unit is connected to the dust-collector main body via an external, flexible cord. The operation unit includes one or more LEDs for illuminating the area to be cleaned and an ON/OFF switch for controlling operation of the motor.

A cyclone unit capable of enhancing dust collection performance. A cyclone unit includes a cyclone unit body, a dust box and a core tube. The cyclone unit body includes a lower base, an upper base and a middle base sandwiched between the lower base and the upper base. The dust box is assembled to the cyclone unit body so as to collect dust and dirt. The core tube, having a meshed shape, is assembled to the middle base so as to be located inside the dust box. The core tube is detachable from the middle base while the upper base is assembled to the lower base.

Cyclone unit

A motor housing of housings forming an outer casing of a tool main body is provided with two battery attachment portions allowing attachment of rechargeable batteries. The two battery attachment portions are configured as slide attachment type battery attachment portions. The two battery attachment portions are suited to slide attachment type rechargeable batteries that are attached through sliding. The two rechargeable batteries are attached in the right-left direction of the tool main body so that the two rechargeable batteries can be arranged side by side in the direction in which the tool main body extends.
