A hard-coated antiglare film is provided that has high hardness, high scratch resistance, and good antiglare properties. In the hard-coated antiglare film of the present invention including a transparent plastic film substrate, a hard-coating layer containing fine particles is formed on at least one surface of the transparent plastic film substrate, the hard-coating layer has a thickness in the range of 15 to 30 &#x3bc;m, the fine particles have a weight average particle size of 30 to 75% of a thickness of the hard-coating layer, the average tilt angle &#x3b8;a of the unevenness of the hard-coating layer surface is in the range of 0.4&#xb0; to 1.5&#xb0;, and the hard-coating layer is formed using a resin for forming the hard-coating layer containing three specific resin components.

An antireflection hard coating film of the invention comprises: a transparent plastic film substrate; and at least one hard coating layer of a cured coating layer and at least one antireflection layer that are formed in this order on at least one side of the transparent plastic film substrate, wherein a hard coating layer-forming material contains 100 parts by weight of a (meth)acrylate group-containing curable compound (A) and 0.01 to 3 parts by weight of a (meth)acrylate group-containing reactive silicone (B), and an antireflection layer-forming material contains a siloxane component-containing compound, at the interface between the hard coating layer and the antireflection layer being in direct contact with each other. The antireflection hard coating film has good adhesion between the hard coating layer and the antireflection layer, high hardness, and good scratch resistance without a reduction in antireflection properties.

The antiglare hard-coated filmincludes a transparent film substrateand a hard coat layerthat is provided on at least one side of the transparent film substrate, contains fine particles, and has an irregular surface, wherein the fine particleshave an average particle size of 6 &#x3bc;m to 15 &#x3bc;m and form irregularities with an average slope angle &#x3b8;a of 0.4&#xb0; to 1.5&#xb0;, and the antiglare hard-coated film satisfies the relation: {(the contrast ratio)/(the contrast ratio of a hard-coated film without the fine particles)}&#xd7;100&#x2267;60%.

A curing resin composition which enables formation of an antireflection layer having good antiscratchability and a cured film obtained from such a curing resin composition are disclosed. The curing resin composition contains (A) a siloxane oligomer having an average molecular weight of 500-10000 in terms of ethylene glycol and (B) a fluorine compound having a number-average molecular weight of 5000 or more in terms of polystyrene and having a fluoroalkyl structure and a polysiloxane structure.

A hard coat film of the present invention comprises a hard coat layer, which is a cured coat layer, provided on at least one side of a transparent plastic film substrate, wherein a hard coat layer forming material comprises urethane acrylate (A); isocyanuric acid acrylate (B) and inorganic ultrafine particles (C), and has a high hardness and suppresses curling due to cracking and cure shrinkage.

An optical diffusing layer includes a resin coated layer having a surface fine concavo-convex structure. An average of peak-to-peak distance (Sm), an average of center line surface roughness (Ra), and an average of ten-point surface roughness (Rz) on the surface with fine concavo-convex structure satisfy specified equations, and the optical diffusing layer is capable of maintaining antiglare property and screen glare simultaneously controlled, when applied to an LCD in which high definition is required.

A light diffusing sheet of a structure in which a light diffusing layer is formed on at least one surface of a transparent film, the light diffusing layer including a resin coat layer having a minute unevenness shape and a low refractive index layer having a refractive index lower than that of the resin coat layer on the surface having a minute unevenness shape thereof, whereby the sheet can retain antiglare property, shows almost no white blurring to be recognized due to surface scattering, exhibits almost no birefringence, and is excellent in adherence and durability even when applied to a high definition LCD.
