A heat exchange system includes an outdoor heat exchanger, an indoor heat exchanger, a compressor, an expansion valve, a capillary tube, and a cooling jacket. The compressor is provided on a first path that is one of two paths connecting the outdoor heat exchanger and the indoor heat exchanger, and the expansion valve, the capillary tube and a check valve are provided on a second path of the two paths connecting the outdoor heat exchanger and the indoor heat exchanger that is opposite to the path on which the compressor is provided. The cooling jacket for cooling an object to be cooled is provided between the expansion valve and the capillary tube.

Heat exchange system with fixed and variable expansion devices in series

A valve case () includes a plurality of ports (P, P, P, . . . ). A valve body () rotates in the valve case () and slide on openings of predetermined ones of the ports (P, P, P, . . . ) to switch a communication state among the ports (P, P, P, . . . ). A motor () rotates the valve body (). A controller () controls a rotation speed (&#x3c9;) of the motor () in accordance with a differential pressure (&#x394;P) between internal and external pressures of the valve body ().

Refrigerant passage change-over valve and air conditioner using the same

A movable valve element is provided so as to rotate about a predetermined shaft center. A first valve seat and a second valve seat are respectively arranged apart from the movable valve element with predetermined clearances on both sides of the movable valve element in a direction along the shaft center. A first sealing member is arranged around a communication path so as to seal a space inside the communication path from a space defined by the clearance on a side close to the first valve seat. A second sealing member is arranged around the communication path so as to seal the space inside the communication path from a space defined by the clearance on a side close to the second valve seat.

Rotary valve

An air conditioning apparatus includes a heat source unit, a first utilization unit, a second utilization unit, a refrigerant communication pipe and a control section. The heat source unit includes a heat source side compressor, a heat source side heat exchanger and a heat source side expansion mechanism. The first utilization unit includes a first utilization side compressor, a first utilization side heat exchanger and a first utilization side expansion mechanism. The second utilization unit includes a second utilization side compressor, a second utilization side heat exchanger and a second utilization side expansion mechanism. The control section is configured to control the first utilization side compressor and the first utilization side expansion mechanism in accordance with operation load of the first utilization unit, and to control the second utilization side compressor and the second utilization side expansion mechanism in accordance with operation load of the second utilization unit.

Air conditioning apparatus

An air conditioning apparatus includes a supercooling heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between a high-pressure refrigerant and a low-pressure refrigerant. A high-pressure liquid refrigerant pipe is wound around an external periphery of a low-pressure refrigerant suction pipe. Preferably, the supercooling heat exchanger is disposed inside the indoor unit at a position below an evaporator. Drain water from the evaporator is dispersed over the supercooling heat exchanger or a drain pipe leading from a drain pan of the evaporator is wound together with the high-pressure liquid refrigerant pipe around the low-pressure refrigerant suction pipe. In either case, cold energy of the drain water effectively acts on the high-pressure liquid refrigerant pipe to exchange heat. The supercooling heat exchanger operates with improved efficiency without any increase in the volume of the heat exchanger so that the evaporator can be made as small and compact as possible.

A refrigerant flow dividing apparatus of a heat exchanger for refrigerating apparatus is provided with a minimal number of refrigerant flow regulating valves and suppresses increase in the size and costs of the apparatus. Refrigerant is supplied to paths of the heat exchanger for refrigerating apparatus including a heat exchanger for reheat dehumidification via a refrigerant flow divider provided with paths. Each path of the refrigerant flow divider is provided with a refrigerant flow regulating valve, and a predetermined one of the refrigerant flow regulating valves of the paths also functions as a reheat dehumidification valve.
