A light emitting device includes a planar light emitting body configured to emit light in a planar shape, and a transparent member configured to control the light from the planar light emitting body. The transparent member has a light incidence surface arranged so as to face a light emitting surface of the planar light emitting body and configured to cause the light from the planar light emitting body to be incident on the transparent member and a light emission surface configured to emit, to the outside, the light which is propagated in the transparent member. The transparent member is formed so as to extend in a predetermined direction and formed such that a distance between the light incidence surface and the light emission surface changes in accordance with a position in the predetermined direction.

Light emitting device and vehicle lamp

Provided is a light source unit including a base unit formed on a front surface thereof with a first circuit pattern by irradiating laser light to a resin molded article, and a light emitting element mounted on the base unit and electrically connected to the first circuit pattern. The base unit includes a mounting surface portion directed in a prescribed direction such that the light emitting element is mounted thereon, and a sidewall surface portion connected to the mounting surface portion in a plane intersection state, and the sidewall surface portion is formed as an inclined surface intersecting with the mounting surface portion at an obtuse angle.

Light source unit

A vehicular lamp unit has a substrate, a light source having a first light-emitting element and a second light-emitting element disposed on the substrate, and an optical element having the light source attached thereto. The substrate is long in a first direction. The optical element radiates emitted light of the first and second light-emitting elements toward a front of the vehicular lamp unit, with a desired light distribution. A reference portion serving as a positioning reference for the optical element is provided in a part of the substrate. The first and second light-emitting elements are arranged in the first direction. The first light-emitting element illuminates an area having high light intensity of the light distribution. The second light-emitting element illuminates an area having low light intensity of the light distribution. The first light-emitting element is mounted at a position closer to the reference portion in the first direction than the second light-emitting element.

Vehicular lamp unit

A light source unit includes a socket, a heat dissipation member, a board and a semiconductor light emitting element. The socket has a first thermal conductivity and includes a portion that defines a first side and a second side. The heat dissipation member has a second thermal conductivity being higher than the first thermal conductivity. The board is disposed on the first side. The semiconductor light emitting element is supported by the board. The socket is an injection-molded member. The heat dissipation member includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is disposed on the first side, extends in a first direction, and supports the board. The second portion includes a portion extending in a second direction intersecting with the first direction, as a result of being subjected to bending processing. A part of the second portion is disposed on the second side.

A vehicular lamp () including a lamp easing () formed by a lamp housing () having an opening () on at least one side and a cover () attached to the lamp housing and closing the opening, and a tight source unit () disposed in the lamp casing and having a light source () that emits light, wherein the light source unit has a wiring board () that has a first surface () and a second surface () which face different directions and an electronic part that is mounted at least on the first surface and includes the light source, and a holding protrusion () that holds the electronic part is provided on the first surface of the wiring board.

An illumination device including a light emitting element and a lighting control circuit on a metal base flexible printed circuit board (FPC) that is formed by integrating a flexible metal base with a flexible printed circuit board which is formed by integrating a copper foil pattern (conductive body) with films, wherein end portions of the metal base FPC are formed as thick terminal portions so that the end portions are thicker than the metal base FPC.
