A secondary battery includes a negative electrode containing a lithium silicate phase and silicon particles dispersed in the lithium silicate phase and an electrolytic solution containing a fluorine-containing linear carboxylic acid ester represented by R—(CO)O—CH—R(wherein Ris an alkyl group and Ris an alkyl group in which at least one hydrogen atom is substituted with fluorine).

Secondary battery

An alkaline dry battery, including: a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and an alkaline electrolyte. The positive electrode includes a manganese dioxide, the negative electrode includes zinc and/or a zinc alloy, and the alkaline electrolyte includes at least one sulfonyl group-containing anion selected from the group consisting of a bis(perfluoroalkylsulfonyl)imide anion, a bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide anion, and a fluorosulfonate anion.

A battery includes a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode, and an electrolytic solution including an additive. The positive electrode active material includes a compound having a crystal structure belonging to a space group FM3-M and represented by Compositional Formula (1): LiMeOF, where, Me is one or more elements selected from the group consisting of Mn, Co, Ni, Fe, Al, B, Ce, Si, Zr, Nb, Pr, Ti, W, Ge, Mo, Sn, Bi, Cu, Mg, Ca, Ba, Sr, Y, Zn, Ga, Er, La, Sm, Yb, V, and Cr; and subscripts x, y, &#x3b1;, and &#x3b2; satisfy the following requirements: 1.7&#x2264;x&#x2264;2.2, 0.8&#x2264;y&#x2264;1.3, 1&#x2264;&#x3b1;&#x2264;2.5, and 0.5&#x2264;&#x3b2;&#x2264;2. The additive is at least one selected from dinitrile compounds and diisocyanate compounds.

Battery

A battery includes a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode, and an electrolytic solution including a lithium hexafluorophosphate and an additive. The positive electrode active material includes a compound having a crystal structure belonging to a space group FM3-M and represented by Compositional Formula (1): LiMeOF. The additive is at least one selected from the group consisting of difluorophosphates, tetrafluoroborates, bis(oxalate)borate salts, bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide salts, and bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide salts.

A rechargeable battery including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte solution is provided. The electrolyte solution contains water and one or more lithium salts, and the lithium salts include lithium fluorophosphate.

Rechargeable battery and electrolyte solution

A negative-electrode active material comprises a graphite including at least boron and fluorine. The fluorine is disposed at least on a surface of the graphite. A ratio R satisfies 0.5&#x2264;R&#x2264;1, where R=S/S, and Sdenotes a total peak area of a boronspectrum of the graphite obtained by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and Sdenotes a peak area of all spectra each having a peak in a binding energy range of not less than 184.0 eV and not more than 188.5 eV in the boronspectrum.

Negative-electrode active material for non-aqueous secondary battery and non-aqueous secondary battery

A negative-electrode active material comprises a graphite including boron and nitrogen. A ratio R1 satisfies 0.5&#x2264;R1&#x2264;1, where R1=S/S, and Sdenotes a total peak area of a boronspectrum of the graphite obtained by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and Sdenotes a peak area of a spectrum assigned to boron bonded to nitrogen in the boronspectrum. A ratio R2 satisfies 0&#x3c;R2&#x2264;0.05, where R2=S/(S+S+S), and Sdenotes a peak area of a carbonspectrum of the graphite obtained by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and Sdenotes a peak area of a nitrogenspectrum of the graphite obtained by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.

An electrolyte solution contains a non-aqueous solvent and an alkali metal salt dissolved in the non-aqueous solvent. The non-aqueous solvent contains a linear carboxylate represented by the following formula: where Rand Rindependently represent an aromatic group, an unsaturated aliphatic group, or a saturated aliphatic group. A battery includes the electrolyte solution, a positive electrode containing a positive electrode active material that has a property of occluding and releasing an alkali metal ion, and a negative electrode containing an alkali metal or a negative electrode active material that has a property of occluding and releasing the alkali metal ion.

Electrolyte solution and battery

A non-aqueous electrolytic solution of the present invention includes: a solvent component including a glyme solvent and a phosphazene solvent; and an alkali metal salt composed of an alkali metal cation and an anion, the alkali metal salt being dissolved in the solvent component. The phosphazene solvent is a cyclic phosphazene compound represented by the formula (1). where Xto Xeach independently represent a halogen atom or OR, Ris a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group or a substituted or unsubstituted saturated aliphatic group, the aromatic group and the saturated aliphatic group each optionally contain a halogen atom, a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, or a silicon atom, and the saturated aliphatic group is linear or cyclic.

Non-aqueous electrolytic solution and non-aqueous electrolyte secondary cell using same

An electrolyte solution contains a non-aqueous solvent and an alkali metal salt dissolved in the non-aqueous solvent. The non-aqueous solvent contains cyclopropanecarbonitrile. A battery includes an electrolyte solution which contains a non-aqueous solvent containing cyclopropanecarbonitrile and an alkali metal salt dissolved in the non-aqueous solvent, a positive electrode containing a positive electrode active material that has a property of occluding and releasing an alkali metal ion, and a negative electrode containing an alkali metal or a negative electrode active material that has a property of occluding and releasing the alkali metal ion.

A nonaqueous electrolyte solution for a secondary battery includes: a nonaqueous solvent including a cyclic carbonate having at least one fluoro group on a side chain thereof, a chain carbonate, and trimethylacetonitrile; and a lithium salt dissolved in the nonaqueous solvent.
