An electric discharge device according to the present disclosure includes a discharge electrode, a counter electrode, a voltage application circuit, and a liquid supply unit. The discharge electrode is a columnar electrode. The counter electrode faces the discharge electrode. The voltage application circuit applies an application voltage between the discharge electrode and the counter electrode. The liquid supply unit supplies liquid to the discharge electrode. The liquid extends and contracts along a central axis of the discharge electrode by discharge. The counter electrode includes a peripheral electrode part and a projecting electrode part. In a direction along the central axis of the discharge electrode, a tip of the liquid in a state in which the liquid extends is located at the same position as an outer peripheral edge of the peripheral electrode part or located closer to the discharge electrode than the outer peripheral edge.

Electric discharge device and electrode device

A voltage application device includes a voltage application circuit. The voltage application circuit applies application voltage between discharge electrode and counter electrode which face each other with a clearance left from each other to generate a discharge. The voltage application device forms discharge path partially and dielectrically broken between discharge electrode and counter electrode when a discharge is generated. Discharge path includes first dielectric breakdown region formed around discharge electrode, and second dielectric breakdown region formed around counter electrode.

A discharge device according to the present disclosure includes a discharge electrode and a voltage applicator that applies a voltage to the discharge electrode and thus causes discharge that is further developed from corona discharge at the discharge electrode. The discharge is discharge in which a discharge path is intermittently formed by dielectric breakdown so as to stretch from the discharge electrode to a surrounding. This discharge can be called leader discharge. This makes it possible to increase an amount of generated active component while keeping an increase of ozone small.

An electrostatic atomizing device of the present disclosure includes a discharge electrode, a counter electrode, a liquid supplying unit, a current path, a voltage applicator, and a limiting resistor. The limiting resistor is disposed on a first current path or a second current path included in the current path. The first current path electrically connects the voltage applicator and the counter electrode, and the second current path electrically connects the voltage applicator and the discharge electrode. This makes it possible to increase an amount of generated radicals while keeping an increase of ozone small. In addition, an electric current peak of an instantaneous electric current can be kept small.

Electrostatic atomizing device

An electrostatic atomization device that prevents the cooling capability from being lowered due to contact of an atomization electrode with another ember, while effectively preventing surplus production of condensed water that would destabilize discharging at the distal end of the atomization electrode. the electrostatic atomization device includes an atomization electrode having a cylindrical electrode body and a base which is informed at a basal end of the electrode body and has a larger diameter than the electrode from the base to produce condensed water on the atomization electrode. Voltage is applied to the atomization electrode when the condensed water is produced to generate charged fine water droplets. A partition plate includes an insertion hole that receives the electrode body of the atomization electrode. The partition plate and the base of the atomization electrode form a water collection region in between.

An electrostatic atomization device (A) for increasing hydrophilicity of collected matter () that has low hydrophilicity and is attached to a surface of a processing subject (). The device includes an atomization electrode (), which generates electrostatically charged atomized water droplets to increase the hydrophilicity, a water supply member (), which supplies water to the atomization electrode (), and a voltage application member (), which applies voltage to the water supplied to the atomization electrode ().

Electrostatic atomized water particle generating module

An electrostatically atomizing device includes an emitter electrode, an opposed electrode disposed in an opposed relation to the emitter electrode, liquid supply means for supplying a liquid to the emitter electrode, and high voltage generating means for applying a high voltage across the emitter electrode and the opposed electrode. The liquid supplied onto the emitter electrode is electrostatically charged through application of the high voltage, as a result of which charged minute liquid particles are discharged from a discharge end of the emitter electrode. The device includes detecting means for detecting a discharge condition developed between the emitter electrode and the opposed electrode, and a controller for controlling the high voltage generating means to regulate its voltage output so as to maintain a predetermined discharge condition, based on detection results by the detecting means. Charged minute particles can be continuously generated in an amount corresponding to the predetermined discharge condition, by adjusting the discharge voltage that is applied to the emitter electrode.

An oxidation and reduction fine particles generator includes an atomization electrode, a water feeder for supplying water to the atomization electrode and a high voltage generator, and also includes a switch device and a controller. The switch device changes an operation mode to an oxidation mode or a reduction mode. The controller generates negatively charged fine water particles including radicals through electrostatic atomization by applying a high voltage to water supplied to the atomization electrode in the oxidation mode. The controller also inactivates and activates the water feeder and the high voltage generator, respectively to generate reduction fine particles from the atomization electrode by dry discharge in the reduction mode.

The electrostatic atomizing device includes a discharge electrode, an opposed electrode, and a voltage application device. The voltage application device is configured to apply a voltage between the discharge electrode and the opposed electrode so as to atomizing a liquid supplied to the discharge electrode. The electrostatic atomizing device further includes a reduced water provision device configured to supply reduced water as the above liquid to the discharge electrode.
