A shaft sealing structure includes a V-packing; a first guide bush attached to an inner circumference of the holder; and a scraper arranged at an end of the holder. The V-packing is formed of a thick-walled top portion, a thin-walled inner side skirt portion extending diagonally inward from the top portion, and a thin-walled outer side skirt portion extending diagonally outward from the top portion. The inner side skirt portion slidably contacts an outer surface of the rod at a distal end of the inner side skirt portion, and the outer side skirt portion abuts against an inner surface of the holder at a distal end of the outer side skirt portion. The top portion is sandwiched between the scraper and the first guide bush, and the inner and outer side skirt portions are freely deformable inside a space formed between the first guide bush and the scraper.

Shaft sealing structure

A shaft sealing structure includes a plurality of V-packings that are stacked in multiple stages, and each of the V-packings is formed of a thick-walled annular top portion, a thin-walled inner side skirt portion, and a thin-walled outer side skirt portion. Adjacent ones of the top portions abut against each other, adjacent ones of the inner side skirt portions do not interfere with each other, and adjacent ones of the outer side skirt portions do not interfere with each other.

A gate valve includes a valve box; a linear channel formed inside the valve box; a valve disc displaceable in an axis direction perpendicular to the channel and that can obstruct the channel by the external surface thereof abutting the inner wall of the channel; a valve rod that extends from the base end of the valve disc; and a valve chamber that accommodates the valve disc. The external surface of the portion of the valve disc protruding into the channel while in an open position is configured to be a streamline curved face.

A spool valve is equipped with a valve body, a spool arranged in a valve chamber such that the spool can be displaced between a first position, which allows communication between an inlet port and an outlet port, and a second position, which blocks communication between the inlet port and the outlet port, a pilot valve mechanism disposed in the valve body and which causes displacement of the spool along an axial direction under the pressure of a pilot fluid that acts on one end surface of the spool, and a spring that biases the spool toward one side in the axial direction.

A thermoelement and a thermovalve incorporating the same, in which reliable operation is achieved with a simple internal structure, and there is no risk of contaminant jamming. The thermoelement includes a casing, a mounting portion, a shaft, a heat-sensitive medium, and a seal member for drawing the shaft into the casing when the heat-sensitive medium expands. The thermovalve includes a body including a valve body linked to a shaft of a thermoelement, and a seating part on/from which the valve body can be seated/separated.

A driving section is provided for a housing. A fan is rotated in the housing by the driving section. Saturated steam, which is supplied to the housing, is separated into a liquid component and a gas component by applying the centrifugal force to the saturated steam by the fan to make the saturated steam pass through a cylindrical separating wall. The liquid component is discharged from an outlet port of the housing by the separating wall and a shielding section. On the other hand, the gas component is discharged from a discharge port formed at an upper portion of the housing.
