The tape feeder set-up system has a tape feeder, having an electric motor, for feeding a carrier tape wound on a reel and accommodating multiple components in a predetermined feed direction; a loading table on which the tape feeder can be loaded; a scheduled use determination section for determining whether a component in the tape feeder loaded on the loading table is scheduled to be used based on a component usage schedule, and a control section for reversing the carrier tape in a direction opposite to the predetermined feed direction by controlling the electric motor of the tape feeder when the scheduled use determination section determines that the component is not scheduled to be used.

Tape feeder set-up system

A cassette type tape feeder including a tape feeding device that feeds a component supply tape to a component pickup position from a reel; a cover tape drawing-in device that peels off a cover tape from the component supply tape forward of the component suction position in accordance with a feeding operation of the component supply tape, and draws in the cover tape in a direction opposite to a feeding direction of the component supply tape; and a cover tape collection case that collects the cover tape drawn in by the cover tape drawing-in device. The cover tape collection case is configured of a fixing case section fixed to a cassette case, and a movable case section which expands capacity of the cover tape collection case by being displaced in a direction of the vacant space in the reel corresponding to an increase in collection amount of the cover tape. The movable case section is biased in a reducing direction by a torsion coil spring.

Tape feeder

A board work system provided with multiple mounters and arranged in a line, wherein each mounter includes supply device, the supply device being configured from at least one tape feeder that supplies electronic components, and tape feeder holding table on which at least one of the tape feeders is detachably loaded.

Board work device

A feeder exchanging device capable of exchanging feeder provided with fixed blade and movable blade for cutting top film that is peeled from bottom tape as components are supplied to a component mounter. The feeder exchanging device comprises robot hand that includes pair of arms on which claws capable of clamping feeder are formed, and sliders that move robot hand in the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis directions, with an actuator (rod actuator) for driving movable blade provided on robot hand.

Feeder exchanging device

A revolving nozzle station and a revolving drive device that revolves the revolving nozzle station are housed inside a cassette case of a cassette-type nozzle exchanging unit. In an outer circumferential portion of the revolving nozzle station, multiple nozzles for exchange with a nozzle of component mounter are arranged radially along a revolution path, and the nozzles are held in a detachable manner. A nozzle exchange port is formed in a top end surface of cassette case, and nozzle exchange is performed between the revolving nozzle station and a mounting head of the component mounter through the nozzle exchange port. A shutter mechanism which opens and closes the nozzle exchange port is provided in the cassette case.

Cassette-type nozzle exchanging unit and replacement system thereof

An electric-component mounting system including: nozzle holders each carrying suction nozzles and rotatable to bring selected one of the suction nozzles; a turning device to turn the nozzle holders about a common axis of turning, for stopping each nozzle holder at predetermined working positions including nozzle-selecting, component-receiving and component-mounting positions; a holder rotating device which includes an engaging member engageable with and disengageable from an engaging portion of each nozzle holder, and which is disposed at the nozzle-selecting position, to rotate the nozzle holder, with the engaging member engaging the engaging portion; and an engaging-and-disengaging device to move the engaging member for engagement and disengagement with and from the engaging portion, and wherein each nozzle holder receives an electric component at the selected suction nozzle when each nozzle holder is located at the component-receiving position, and mounts the electric-component onto a circuit substrate while each nozzle holder is located at the component-mounting position. The holder rotating device is arranged to rotate the engaging member while permitting a movement of the engaging member in at least a direction of turning of each nozzle holder by the turning device.

Electric-component mounting system

An angular position adjusting device including a first member which holds an object having an axis of rotation, a second member which holds the first member rotatably about the axis of the object, and a rotating mechanism interposed between the first and second members and operable to rotate the first member relative to the second member about the axis of the object, and wherein one of the first and second members has an guiding surface formed to extend along an arc of a circle having a center at the axis of the object, the arc having a center angle smaller than 180&deg;, and the other of the first and second members has a guided surface for sliding contact with the arcuate guiding surface, when the first member is rotated by the rotating mechanism relative to the second member, to adjust the angular position of the object about its axis.
