A tool is portable and is to be used with a grip of the tool gripped thereon. The tool includes a vibration generating device. The vibration generating device is configured to generate vibration to notify a state of a machine. The vibration generating device is disposed inside the grip. The vibration generating device is disposed to vibrate in a direction substantially orthogonal to an axial direction of the grip.

A contact mechanism includes a contact top disposed on an outer peripheral portion of a leading end portion of a nose in such a manner that it is slidable along an axial direction of the nose, and a hollow nose top held by the contact top and including an ejection opening formed in front of an ejection opening formed in the nose in such a manner that the ejection opening of the nose top is connected continuously with the ejection opening of the nose. The contact top is connected to an adjuster mechanism through a contact arm and, at the same time, the contact top can be guided by the outer peripheral surface of the leading end portion of the nose.

Nail hammering guide mechanism in nailing machine

A nailing machine has a contact foot coupled to the front end portion of an contact arm which is provided along a nose section adapted to hammer a nail, such that the contact arm is slidable in a nail hammering direction. The contact foot mounting structure comprises: a U-shaped mounting pin having a pair of legs, a holding piece formed at the front end of the contact arm in which the contact foot is accommodated and held, the holding piece having a pair of inserting sections, into which respective legs of the mounting pin are inserted; and a pair of engaging sections formed at the contact foot, the engaging sections being engaging with respective legs of the mounting pin.
