To provide a rotary electrical machine having a novel configuration adapted to provide axial downsizing of the rotary electrical machine when connecting an electrical connection conductor to a welded side terminal section of a coil end of a segment coil. The rotary electrical machine includes: a stator coreincluding slots radially extended in a radial fashion; a plurality of segment coilsradially stacked and accommodated in the slot; and a neutral point bus-barlaid on a side of a welded coil end of the segment coiland including a connection wiring section and a connection section for interconnecting the different segment coils. In a state where the segment coilsare mounted, at least a part of the connection wiring section is laid in a radial space RS radially defined by the segment coils. The connection wiring section can be laid in the radial space RS radially defined by the segment coilsso that axial elongation of a configuration space for the electrical connection conductoris prevented. Thus, the axial downsizing of the rotary electrical machine can be achieved.

A novel dynamo-electrical machine is provided that can inhibit an increase in the height of a coil end positioned toward a turn portion and improve the cooling performance around the turn portion of a segment coil. A segment coilincludes a first linear portion, a second linear portion, and a turn portionincluding a top portion. The first linear portionis inserted into a specified slot. Provided is a rotary electric machine which is configured to draw three-phase output lines from a connection side coil end by an easy process. A stator for a rotary electric machine according to the present invention includes a plurality of segment coils including connection-side winding portions and non-connection-side winding portions. The connection-side winding portions are arranged on one side of a stator core and connected to slots with the same slot pitch, and the non-connection-side winding portions are arranged on the other side of the stator core and inserted into the slots with a plurality of kinds of slot pitches. The connection-side winding portions include a first connection group and a second connection group. The first connection group is provided with a plurality of terminal portions for connecting the segments, and the second connection group connects layers different from those in the first connection group, and is provided with a plurality of terminal portions.

Stator for rotary electric machine and rotary electric machine using same

The efficiency of inserting a coil conductor into a slot of a stator core is improved in the present invention. Included are a rotor and a stator. The stator includes a stator core formed with a plurality of slots formed at a predetermined depth in a radial direction and arranged while spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction and stator winding having a coil conductor inserted in each of the slots. A plurality of protrusions are formed in each of the slots of the stator core toward a space into which the coil conductor is inserted.

An electric rotating machine includes a rotor, a stator, and a thermistor. The thermistor has a temperature measuring element portion that is fitted in a minute gap defined by connecting portions of segment conductors at a stator coil end. The stator coil end is formed by arranging a plurality of the segment conductors in slots of a stator core to thereby form connecting portions of the segment conductors at the end portion of the stator core. The thermistor is separated from the connecting portions of the segment conductors only by dead air that defines the minute gap.

A rotating electrical machine includes: a stator that including a stator core and a teeth section, with a stator coil wound at the teeth section; a rotor arranged via a clearance at an inner periphery side of the stator and supported in a freely rotating manner; and a distribution unit supported by a resin holder, and including a conductor connected to the stator coil. The rotating electrical machine is cooled by coolant. The stator coil includes a coil end section projecting from an end of the stator in an axial direction. A gap is formed between an end of the stator core and a lower surface of the distribution unit by mounting the distribution unit on an upper part of the coil end section. The gap constitutes a path for the coolant.

An inverter-driven rotating machine system is provided in which three-phase AC electric power of the inverter is supplied to a rear motor generator by using a cable. One end of an additional cable is connected to rotating machine terminals, namely motor input terminals of a motor case. The other end is connected to fixed voltage terminals, namely inverter additional terminals on an outer case of the inverter via resistors.

A stator coil is configured of a first group of six turns of conductive wire, and a second group also of six turns, with the first group of six turns being wound on a spool, leaving a gap the same as the diameter of the conductive wire between winds. Upon completion of winding the first group, the winding is turned back, and the second group of six turns is wound in the gap, so as to be adjacent to the turns of the first group. The article is then inserted into a slot in a stator core of a stator, thereby configuring a stator coil. This provides for a rotating electrical machine and manufacturing method thereof with improved insulation resistivity regarding inverter surge voltage, and moreover high output can be obtained with a machine of comparable external dimensions with conventional machines.
