A vehicle lamp includes first and second light sources, a collecting lens that collects light, a shielding member that passes collected light through a radiating slit, and a projecting lens that forms a radiation pattern with light. The collecting lens includes a first lens portion and a second lens portion that correspond to the first and second light sources, respectively, the radiating slit includes a near-side slit portion and a far-side slit portion that correspond to a near-side radiation design and a far-side radiation design, respectively, in the radiation pattern, the first lens portion and the second lens portion are opposed to the far-side slit portion and the near-side slit portion, respectively. A collecting lens member, the shielding member, and a projecting lens member are fixed to a supporting member such that a collecting lens frame and a shielding frame overlap with each other in an optical axis direction.

Vehicle lighting device with heat sink member and shade

A periphery of a projecting lens is heated due to radiation heat exerted by light emitted from a light source, like peripheries of the light source and a reflector. However, a lens holder holding the projecting lens is integrally molded with a heat sink member, so that a heat at the periphery of the projecting lens is well transmitted to the heat sink member by means of the lens holder, and is efficiently radiated by means of the heat sink member.

An projector type lamp includes a casing formed with a front open end and configured by connecting an upper casing member and a lower casing member to each other; a concave mirror formed on an inside face of the casing; a light source provided at the first focal point of the concave mirror; a convex lens configured to be held between the upper casing member and the lower casing member at the front open end of the casing and adapted to refract a reflected light that is emitted from the light source and reflected on the concave mirror so as to project a substantially parallel pencil beam forward from the project type lamp; provisional fixers provided on the upper casing member and the lower casing member respectively and configured to latch one another so as to provisionally fix the casing members to one another in place; and a fastener configured to fasten the provisionally-fixed casing members together.

A vehicular head lamp enables rotation of an upper reflector ( ) relative to an intermediate reflector ( ), thereby changing a dispersed light-distribution pattern (WP) with respect to a fixed reference light-distribution pattern (LP and HP). By causing a lower reflector ( ) to rotate relative to the intermediate reflector ( ), a collimated light-distribution pattern (SP) is changed with respect to the reference light-distribution patterns (LP and HP). The result of this arrangement is an improvement in visibility when the vehicle negotiates a curve.

A reflector is for reflecting light rays from the light source bulb to set up a brightness intensity distribution pattern. The reflector is separated in a movable reflector part and a fixed reflector part. The movable reflector part has a first separated edge. The fixed part has a second separated edge in opposition to the first separated edge. A driving means is for moving the movable reflector part relative to the fixed reflector part to change a brightness intensity distribution pattern of light rays from the light source bulb. The shading flange is for shading an air gap between the first separated edge and the second separated edge.
